    I have access to the Ondemand screens and guides. However as soon as I try and download any programme it freezes at 1% and does not load any more.

    Any ideas?

    I have tried the links already and went through the sky help desk to rebuild. Stil no luck. I had a;ready deleted the failed downloads and all deleted items from planner. However I haven't rebooted/rebuilt since clearing down the deleted folder . I will try.

    Do yo uthink it could be an Ondemand hardware fault?

    Delete the failed downloads from your planner and then go into your deleted folder (highlight the all tab and press the left button on your remote). and delete everything from here.

    After doing this try using On Demand again.

    Hello,

    Does sky ondemand on the sky box have a limit on how quick you can download catch-up etc?

    Only I've now got a 40mb internet connection so twice the speed of my old sky broadband.

    Yet a tv show that is about 1Gb takes 7-9 minutes to download, if my maths is correct it should take about 4 minutes.

    I haven't done the maths. but I imagine that's assuming your downloading at full speed . If you have a connection speed of 40Mbps, your throughput (what you actually download at) is likely to be less than that. Less still, if you're using a wireless On Demand Connector. And the speed at which the Sky servers push out the download will almost certainly vary depending on how many others are downloading at the same time. 7-9 minutes per GB is pretty fair.

    Up until this week it picked up both Sky+ HD boxes no problem, but for some reason it will pick up my box in the lounge ok, but it will not pick up the other box in my bedroom. Not sure if it is related but went to download something off onDemand last night on the box in my bedroom to see I had no onDemand connection (but I had wifi connection) so I rebooted the box/router/wifi connector and it eventually worked and I could use ondemand again, but now the sky+ app on both iphone and ipad will not pick the bedroom box at all. Please help, ty.

    Hi I am having a real problem with the speed at which SKY On Demand downloads. Any one else having problems?

    It was previously working fine..

    . It is so slow that it takes typically 50 minutes to download a 40min SD program. I estimate the On demand download speed is approx 0.8mbps. It s so slow that I cant watch anything On Demand as it constantly buffers. If I want to watch anything I have to let it download then watch it after it has downloaded.

    My son started to download and watch one of the Walking Dead episodes yesterday and 10 minutes after he started to watch it started to buffer. I have a Love Film subscription so I found the episode on there and started it streaming. Streamed at 6mbps and no problem watching it. My son watched it then checked back on SKY and it was still downloading. Both were HD versions.

    What is going on?

    My ISP is TalkTalk my download speed is 8.2mbps and steady.Verified by logging into the router. My Sky Box is connected to the router by an ethernet cable as is my BluRay DVD player via which I access Love film. As I said above my Love Film connection runs at 6mbps. I have carried out the following to try to improve things.

    1 Disconnect all other ethernet inputs to the router except for the Sky Box and switch off router Wireless Lan so that nthing can connet wirelessly to the router. The Sky box has full access to the router bandwidth. Still 0.8mbps download for OnDemand (or not OnDemand at the moment)

    2 Changed the router and repeated 1. Still 0.8mbps download for On Demand

    3 Replaced ethernet cable twice, no change still 0.8mbps download for On demand

    4 Disconnected Sky Box , reconnected Blu Ray and connected to Love Film. Test connection speed 8mbps media download speed 6mbps.

    5 Tried download at multiple different times during the day. Morning afternoon and evening no change.

    Implication is that the issue is with Sky either the Sky Box server limitation or Sky bandwidth in my local area as my download speed is fine with my BluRay player therefore router and broadband connection are fine.

    Any help, thoughts, ideas would be appreciated.

    thanks for getting in touch and I can confirm that everything is currently well with on demand and it is working as it should.

    However, although I contacted my ISP about my speed and had them rectify a speed drop, at 8MBps it should have been sufficiently fast enough for me not to have had any problems with On Demand.

    I still maintain that there is a problem at Sky's end.

    Do you have any comment on my post concerning the apparent relationship between Sky Demand download speed and Broadband speed. (my post of 22/10 ) ?

    What about the fact that currently I have 14.5MBps of bandwidth but on demand only downloads at about 1.3MBps. Does any one at Sky know what speed OnDemand downloads at from the servers or does it depend on demand (forgive the pun)?

    Sorry to be a pain but years of managing in the Chemical Industry investigating incidents to determine the root cause mean that I like to get to the bottom of a problem. I like to know why it broke not just that it appears fixed..

    As Lez48 said if I have any more issues I will post on the other thread.

    Unsuccessfully, I assume. If it's a Pace or Samsung box, it won't have the required software yet. If it's an Amstrad/Sky DRX890 or DRX895/6 it should have the software. If it's an Amstrad DRX780 box, the software is currently being rolled out so your box will receive it shortly if you don't have it already.

    I don't believe an MSDN subscription includes CRM Online I believe only qualified partners get a free instance.

    I have just had sky installed ( on Satursday 11th May)and haveing issue with on demand.When ondemand appears, I can download a programme (or I can download part of a programme and it cuts out), however when I return back to on demand tab say after half an hour, I just get the normal anytime programmes ( i.e the non downloadable ones). I may then return back later in the day, sky on demand is there.I am not sure why on demand is there sometimes and other times it is not?

    I have done all the checks,rebuilt, rebooted, spoken to sky about my broadband, about the fact that on demand is activated, hadallwifi enabled devices off on thehouse,everything in line with other comments...

    I have adownload speekof about 8mbs (thebox isethernet connected)

    Any suggestions would be very welcome...

    Yet another OnDemand problem! I am trying to download the Fiji episode of A Cabbie Abroad which was shown on BBC2 on Sunday 6 July.

    I have been trying it since Monday morning and get an error message "This Programme is Currently Unavailable". Other programmes are downloading fine - so it appears to be another Sky problem.

    Please can someone at Skypress the correct button or whatever is needed, to make the programme available! There seems no point in including a "tile" for a programme, only then to say it's Not Available when someone tries to download it!

    The OnDemand could be a brilliant system - so convenient, but it is just not working properly. (Incidentally, problemsseem to have been much worse since the EPG and OnDemand layout changed)

    WAG200G works fine on everything until I tried to use Sky Ondemand when the wireless connector from Sky finds the network but "has problems connecting" to it. I have changed multiplexing to LLC, I have turned everything off and rebooted , but it still does not work. Is there anything I can do or does this mean a new router? I could upgrade Firmware as I am on 1.01.05. Thanks.

    Since it only worked when the security was disabled, I’m thinking that the Wireless Connector may need to be updated for it to connect to a secured network. Call the Sky On demand tech support to check with them if there’s an update available for the Wireless Connector and if there is, ask assistance in doing the update.

    My OnDemand has stopped downloading anything - nothing happens at all! I can watch movies and stuff from Showcase but cannot download from CatchUp or anywhere else.

    When I press SELECT to view - the message disappears but nothing happens - nothing is downloaded or queued for download.

    My Network connection is fine - I can watch iPlayer on the SMART TV - and it shows as OK in Settings.

    I chatted with a SKY advisor a week or so back and 'Rebuilt' the settings, but nothing has changed - and so far SKY have not responded to my email - with is now more than 48hrs!

    Anyone got any clues as to what the cause might be?

    I read through the rest of the Forum and found a fix that someone else used - apparently they were advised that they may have had a 'corrupted' download in their planner - and deleted this and it fixed the problem.

    So I deleted all my stuff - and permanently from the Deleted tab - and it seems to be working properly now. Of course won't know until it records the scheduled Download - but even that's progress!

    This is not on. I've had BT Vision and TIVO in the past and that feature was a huge selling points of those systems. If Sky could just do the same that would be great.

    BT Virgin give you around 10-12 Free onDemand movies to watch as and when you please every few weeks at no extra cost, it can't be that difficult to get the rights to do that if both of those companies can do it.

    Recently signed up for HD which is not a problem but c'mon sky make Sky Anytime available for HD customers. On demand is slow and hardly on demand when you wait hours for a film to download. Oh well 12 months to go then I'm fitting old box and cancelling HD subscription cos the on demand service isn't what I want out of my tv.

    Tonight had a problem with sky ondemand, started around 8pm, got no local connection or no service connection, tried everything, unplugging the sky wireless connector, inputting my wireless key again. Using the hh4 and its been fine upto now, no other problems with the Internet everything. Dont know if sky ondemand is having problems, i can access to icons put then it says programme isnt avaliable right now which seems to make me think sky ondemand is having network problems.

    Hi and Welcome to the Forums!Anytime random strange behaviors creep in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.Best!

    I have been watching sopranos box set using sky wifi box and downloading from ONdemand. The solution is very flaky so there are lots of breaks in the downloads - this has meant constant reconfiguring of network but when it works - it works. Sadly not quickly enough to download Sopranos 5 and 6 before they were removed from the box set library. Are they going to be re-instated soon please as i would defy anyone who has a life to live - the ability to download and WATCH 6 seasons in the time duration they were made available. I see I'm not the first to complain about this.

    There are no plans to re add this back to the On Demand section at the moment however you can set an email reminder for this by using the never miss site.

    Once this is due to be shown on the TV again you will get an email reminder with the time and date of this.

In the past, we have had Virgin tv, but Sky is a lot better to us, for one thing, it works, I have been using Sky ondemand, and it works a treat, where as, with Virgin's ondemand, we got constant error codes, and area problems, not good, when you want to sit down and watch something, also, I am finding, the picture quality, to be vast better than Virgins TiVo, the HD on Sky, matches the quality of my Panasonic blu ray player, and for it to match this, I am saying something, the standard picture quality on my new Sky + HD box, is also better upscaled, than Virgin's TiVo, I am also getting great quality sound too. It was very nice to receive the latest wifi model, and that it accepts, 5g from my wifi, which is great for me, for better speed, over my wifi. Thanks Sky, for such a great service.

    I think nowadays, people only give feedback, when things go wrong, and fair enough, they should, but not enough time is spent, giving the feedback, when things are right. My Sky, has up to now, brought me a lot of happiness in my life, which is a very good thing, as I am disabled, and my illnesses, have gone worse, but , being able to sit down with my Sky, is great, there are a lot of good stations, and plenty of of them in HD. As I mentioned before, when I had Virgin, I would sit down, wanting to watch something on the ondemand, and most of the time it would not work, now I know, anything can go wrong from time to time, but nearly all the time, it was wrong with Virgin, I spent more time on the phone to them, than watching their ondemand, lol. Of course, if something goes wrong, you will also hear from me to, but if it's only from time to time, something goes wrong, that can only be expected. I like the way Sky do their ondemand, by downloading, and with the latest wifi box, it's working a treat. One thing I am looking forward to, is Sky adding even a lot more ondemand stuff, but of course, there is plenty there already.

    Thank you for your first post to the community and welcome to the Sky Help Forum.

    Even if you have a Wifi enabled TV you would still need to use a wireless connector to view the on demand service without using a Ethernet cable.

    The content does not come through your television it comes through your Sky box.

    I am away from home but still in the country and have downloaded content to watch but after pressing the update app button all I get is sky Go cannot be downloaded at this time. I can't close the app from the home button either as it seems to be frozen.

    I'm trying to activate Sky OnDemand and I am asked to enter the code for my wireless router which is alpha mumeric. The Sky OnDemand website advises using the Sky+ controller by repeated presses of the digit to cycle through numbers, lower and upper case, but my controller just repeats numbers.

    What or why am I doing wrong?

    You are not doing anything wrong but see if doing the one battery trick fixes it:

    Try taking one battery out of the remote and then hold down the SELECT button for 60 seconds. Once that minute is up put the battery back in it and press the big SKY button on it before trying again to use it.

    At present there is not a great amount of 3D viewing available in the 'On Demand' service as this is still a new product, as the popularity of 3D viewing grows so will the choice on this section.

    Could a moderator confirm that this is the case? Only OnDemand has this cap. I can open two windows at the same time - one with full bars and the other (onDemand) has only 1.4. It doesn't matter which way I open the two windows. It must be capped at your end.

    Hi All, please help me here......just before xmas we obtained a sky wireless connector and set up ondemand + using our BT router. This all worked great for around 6 weeks and then just after xmas we found that the ondemand page went back to a small list of choices. The first two options in network connection tab showed failed and ip address was 0 but our router name showed and signal strength was close to max After many weeks on the phone to sky and being asked to switch off and on all the components nothing. A few weeks ago my husband stumbled across an article on line that suggested we change the channel used by our router from auto to 11 and this worked. However this morning a similar situation we are back to a small list choice in ondemand but the first network option is OK and only the second (service...I think) is failed, IP address is still displayed correctly, router name shows and signal strength is great. All other wireless items work when switched on What are we doing wrong here and how do we fix it?????

    We do not have anything directly in place with the service that limits you to what you can download, however there are some factors below that may answer your query.

    Storage space on device.
    Sky Go Extra subscription which you need to be able to download content on to your devices.
    How many times the content has been downloaded as you can only download the same content twice.

    Watching cartoon channels (and now sky 2) I either get a frozen picture and sound or picture and no sound, changing the channel and back again and all is OK for first 2 seconds then one or the other problems occur, this mainly happens on the cartoon channels but have today noticed that sky 2 channelsis doing the same, this happens approx 90% of time but not every time.

    Sky box is black SKY + HD with HDMI to TV, software version is 1.0,all sat signals are at approx 90%,I do have RJ45 conx to broadband router for ondemand

    Any Ideas ?

    We are unable to make calls or receive them the internet is working but has slowed down considerable (has took 2 hours already to download a film on ondemand and is still downloading now), we have brought a new telephone and a new hub to no avail all wiring has been checked.

    If you mean Sky's On Demand service, you need to connect your router to your Sky box, rather than the TV.

    Virgin Media's cable service uses their own cable network infrastructure, so even though VM may have their cable infrastructure in your area this is only for use by VM for their cable service.

    Sky Fibre Broadband uses FTTC technology anduses the Openreach Fibre infrastructurein an exchange area before connecting to the Sky Fibre LLU network at the local exchange.

    There are currently ThreeCriteriasthat you need to meet to be able to get FTTC broadband such as Sky Fibre Broadband:

    1) YourLocal Exchange need to be Fibre (FTTC) broadband ready and accepting Orders

    2) Yourlocal street telephone cabinet (pcp)needs to beupgraded with a FTTC cabinet

    3)Skyneeds to buy aGEA Link to Openreach's Fibre infrastructureat your local exchange.

    Sky FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) fibre broadband uses Openreach's Fibre infrastructure in your exchange area.

    So even though your exchange maybe accepting orders for fibre broadband (usually once 10 or more FTTC cabinet have gone live) in your exchange area, not everyone will currently be able to get FTTC fibre broadband (from any CP/ISP) due to not all the pcp (cabinets) being upgraded with a new FTTC cabinet.

    On the 18/12/14 I joined BT infinity 1 with a home hub 5 router. I was prevouisly with SKY broadband and had ondemand.

    The sky+ box has a wired connection to the router as it doesn't have wi-fi, however the sky box under network option says fail. Also my home hub 5 is not showing the sky box under home network - devices.

    Is there any way to fix this please?

    Could just be a broken connector or one of the wires inside the connector coming loose.

    As well as the wireless connector to be able to watch a sky store film your box has to be connected to the phone line this is so the information on the film you have viewed can be sent back to Sky and you can then be billed for it. This only happens via a phone line and not the internet connection.

    Can someone tell me if there is a problem with Ondemand from Sky and BT Infinity, for the past 2 months ive had terrible trouble downloading from Ondemand from Sky.     Executive Support Team from sky emailed me this morning saying there must be a problem with my ISP which there isnt. I am able to watch netflix and do other things on my connection with no problem at all. It is now getting to a case that if you want to downloading something in HD from ondemand it can take up to 4 hours. Clearly there has to be a problem with the sky servers.

    Here is the email i got from sky this morning.

    Thank you for your reply to my email. Having investigated your account, I can confirm that the download speed will depend on the size of the file and whether or not it is in HD or standard definition.

    I can see from your account that you have the HD pack, so would assume that you are downloading content in HD. For a movie in HD with a file size of 3.4GB, a rough guide with your broadband would be that the wait time to start viewing this would be 1 minute. This means the time it takes to go from "downloading" to "available".

    If there are any issues with this, in the first instance I would suggest that you speak with your internet provider regarding this.

    Although you may be able to browse and access other content online quicker than the On Demand downloads, there can sometimes be congestion at the exchange which cause the issue.

    I would like to check though, from a Sky point of view, if you are connected wirelessly or wired to On Demand. If you could please reply directly to this email with the answer to this question, I can perhaps assist further.

    we havent used on demand for a bit and tonight I though we'd look, we have the Entertainment Plus (everything except movies and sport) - when we went into TV BOX SETS and tried to view anything in there (Discovery channel, ITV, 4oD etc) it kept saying "PLEASE CALL SKY TO UPGRADE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO VIEW THIS" ..?

    I find it a bit odd as OnDemand is supposed to be free? (for the subscriptions you cover and most certainly for FTA (free-to-air) channels) - we tried to download anything in the Discovery Channel section and ITV Player and it just kept saying this message, if I tried to download from the 'catch up' section then it worked fine?

    we recently had our phone packaged changed and wondered if something has happened then?

    can somebody look into this please?

    EDIT: so ive read other threads and its come to my attention that sky have decided to move a truck load of Free-To-Air stuff and Discovery channel (which we pay to have) into the BoxSets section and start charging for them,.... pfft, im not impressed one bit.. Virgin, Talk Talk BT will be all over this in their coming TV adverts, just you watch. its tempting just to turn sky off and get freesat.

    No. You need a connection from your 3rd TV to your Sky box to able to watch anything, including On Demand, from that Sky box.

    To set up On Demand to work with two Sky boxes, you need two wireless connectors, once for each Sky box (or an ethernet cable between your other Sky box and your router).

    Strangely my TV is still showing the old Anytime+ and not the new Ondemand - I have checked the network connection, refreshed the connection, given the router connection a fairly high QoS status. Turned off (at the mains) the Sky HD+ box. But still no change, I do not see the new Ondemand options and I do not get the 'Catch-up' option on the menu, just Showcase, Store, Library and Movies.

    Any ideas?

    I work from home and am unfortunately, quite a long way away from my local exchange so I have poor broadband speed. I also have 2 Sky+HD boxes...

    A few questions:-

    1. Is there any way to see when my boxes are downloading content from the internet? (there is an icon on the front that implies it should but I've never seen it light up, even when I make them download someting)

    2, Is there any way to limit when my Sky box can download anytime content? I need to be on a VPN all day so having 2 Sky Boxes downloading content during the day is really not helpful..

    If there isn't, maybe a useful feature request to be able to select 2-6am as the only times the box can pull down content without being asked to do it?

    Thanks for posting onto the Forum,

    With downloading content if this is in action it will show a red light on the front of the box as if you are recording. You can also check this under the downloading tab of your planner. There is not a way to set up your box to record at specific times however you can pause your recordings on the box then unpause them when and if required.

    I've reached the end of my patience with the OnDemand connector and just want to be rid of it now.

    Unfortunately the return address on the documentation the device came with is all smudged and illegible.

    Does anyone have the return address so that I can send _both_ of the devices I have back. None of them work with my Sky+HD box. I've tried too many times to connect and called the help desk a couple of times too. Seems I am not destinted to have OnDemand from Sky and I need to get these things gone or they are off to the bin. I'd rather return them than bin them.

    We are still having problems with our HD sky box. This evening, we have had no signal for about an hour so far, I have followed the steps on the website but no joy so far. The weather is perfect by the way. Since the second reboot it is giving the message 'your sky+hd box is initialising', so cannot access the planner or OnDemand either....

    It sounds like an issue with your Dish, I had simlair issues - would be fine for certain hours during the day but then every day would lose signal around the same time.

    Get in contact with Sky to take a look might just need adjusting.

    We recently recieved the sky broadband connector that allows you to connect your broadband router to Sky Anytime, I connected it all up as the instructions said to and went to set it up, my internet conection came up on screen, so the box obviously worked however once I put in the password a message comes up on screen saying something along the lines of 'connecting to your broadband router' promptly followed by 'there is a problem connecting to your broadband router, please check you have entered the correct password and try again' I have put in said password about 100 times now, in all different combinations of upper and lower case letters, I have not entered the password incorrectly.

    I then decided to manually connect my broadband router to the sky box via the ethernet cable supplied with the broadband connector, and the sky anytime menu updated to the anytime+ menu, however once I try to watch something I get an error message saying that the download has paused and I can restart it via the sky planner, when I try to do this I get a message saying the Sky+ box cannot connect to the broadband router (even though they are wired into each other!)

    Once this message leaves another appears saying that there is insufficiant space for the download, I tried deleting down programs from the planner but no such luck.

    My internet conncetion is clearly working as I am sending you this request for help over the internet

    FYI my broadban router is a voyager 2091 wireless ADSL router,

    There are loads of us with the same problem on here and the only answer SKY can give us so far is.. "we're working on it over the next few months"... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

    Sorry but you sound like another customer service advisor who will have the same stock answer as above and actually dont really understand what the problem is, Hopefully i'm wrong!

    Given the fact most people with a mac will have updated to this software more than two months ago that makes for alot of unhappy customers...

    First of all, I have been with Sky, from September 2013, and I must thank Sky for a great TV service, the service, has been most reliable, and an excellent picture, sound, and choice of channels, I also have used on a number of occasions, the ondemand service, and I love that too, the TV is miles better than Virgin's, IMHO.

    There is just one point, that I am not happy with, and it's to do with the Sky movie channels, now, I have these channels, as I have a home cinema, which I have been setting up for awhile, and still am, but what I would like to complain about is, that with some of the movies, not all of them, at the end of the film, in the credits, a booming voice comes over, and the end credits go into a small square, at the top of the screen, while they are advertising something comming soon, this spoils the effect, of the end of the film for us, they could wait until the film has finished fully, before bringing in the voice, etc, after all, these are premium channels, that we pay for. I do hope Sky will stop doing this, and would appreciate it, if someone from Sky, could pass this comment on, to the correct department.

    I have connected my broadband router to my telephone socket via the lead left connected to my sky HD box by the installers. I then connected the router now positioned on top of the sky box to the skybox via an ethernet cable. My telephone then had loud background interference noise and the first time I down loaded a programme from ondemand it took over 2 hours! what am I doing wrong?

    Hi, recently upgraded my sky+ multiroom box with a sky+HD box(not purchased from sky). Nowi have purchased a wireless connector from sky so that i can receive ondemand upstairs as well as downstairs. The wireless connector is receiving the skybroadband signal(strength approx 80%), all updates are up to date and settings seem okay. The ondemand menu appears after a power down but shortly disappears to be replaced by the normal anytime+ menu and gives me a message to go online to activate the ondemand service. My sky account has been set to ondemand activated as i have been using it downstairs (wired) for a while now with no issues, but i noticed that my second sky box is still listed as a normal sky+ box and not an HD box, could this be causing a problem.

    Using a Sagem router and sky is my ISP if this helps, thanks for looking.

    I have the full sky package but on sky go extra when I try to down load box sets and kids tv it won't let me can anyone tell me why without me having to phone sky up? By full package I mean I have all the sports movies and kids chanels the only thing I don't have is hd. I also have sky go.

    The info provided by caesarome is correct, you would need Entertainment Extra + in order to watch.

    Film download has paused at 8%, it has been sitting at this status for days, I have tried a planner rebuild, etc

    but can't delete or re-start? any suggestions please?

    Hi @Kevan+Mac and sorry to see you've had some difficulties downloading from Sky Store.

    Please reboot the box by turning it off at the mains before trying to delete the content. If you are still having issues can you create a new threadhereand tell us what content you are having difficulties downloading.

    Is it just me who is getting really slow Fibre broadband speed?

    Even after rebooting my router it seems to fluctate from very good to all of a sudden giving me about 4MB/s and being like this for quite a whie.

    Makes watching things on youtube for example annoying as it keeps freezing and having to rebuff.

    Even when I go to broadbandspeedchecker to check my speed the dial is jumping all over the show as if the signal keeps going, increasin, comng back again.

    Only last month I signed up for an extra 12 months fibre. Now I am wondering if I made the wrong decision..

    Incidentally earlier I downloaded a 1 hour programme from Sky OnDemand and that took over 1 hour to actally download.

    Not very good is it

    Ok, there is nothing reported on that exchange at the moment.

    If you are using a Sky Hub can you take the steps foundhereas this can help us diagnose where the issue is so we can resolve it for you, can you let us know how you get on?

    Well just had some more fun and games with Ondemand, tried to download something and the recording stopped at 9 percent, i tried to restart the recording hoping it would continue but no just stayed there. I checked my internet connection to see if all was ok and done a speedtest that came back fine. So if its not the fail connection i get 3 times a week sometimes 4 now its not recording but not going anywhere. Someone really needs to look at Ondemand because it has some great content but the amount of people that are having problems is now a joke. I pay a lot of money a month for this service and just isnt good enough, people shouldnt have to keep rebooting there sky HD Box heaven knows how any times just to get Ondemand working. And please dont tell me to try ethernet because that isnt an option sadly although i wish it was. I can only suggest its the hardware of the sky wireless connector thats the problem.

    Yes, that is the best thing, I am enjoying Sky a lot, and I have great picture and sound from the box, the HD matches my Panasonic blu ray player, and I have a good range of HD channels being on the Entertainment Extra + a great package, it's the best tv I have ever had.
