DB:3.45:Event 300 Windows Has Resumed From Standby kf

    Same sort of problem here.
It has been getting steadily worse over the past year. All the cache clearing, and other standard cleanups do not seem to have an impact. Also noticed that as the patches/fixes have been applied, it seems to show an overall slowing as well as the browser
upgrades (either Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox) - they can really become annoying when the browser title bar shows the ' (Not Responding) ' message. The corrections for those have not helped at all.

Hi a,Data should always be saved in at least two different places (your MBP and an external HD for TM). Given that, you could use two different external HDs to save your data to, then it would be ok to delete it from your MBP.

    Hi,

    there are two databases:
    [instance]_awdb;[instance]_hds.

The first one contains configuration data and realtime data.

The second one contains historical data.

You might want to adjust your SQL queries like this:

    SELECT * FROM myicm_awdb.dbo.Agent_Skill_Group_Real_Time

    SELECT * FROM myicm_hds.dbo.Agent_Skill_Group_Half_Hour

DB:3.42:How To Load Data In Time Dimension dd

the most easiest way i found so far is using SQL server analysis service. There are lot of different ways to acheive this

    1) PL/SQL

    2) create values in excel and import them in to your database

    3) sql server analysis service

    4) you can even do using a informatica mapping but you will have to define your table structure.

    DB:3.42:Data Size 9f

Data size is whatever - welcome to the world of "Big Data".

In the book "Mastering QlikView", I read that recent implementations support up to 256 TB - however much your server can handle in RAM and how much it can process in an acceptable timeframe (how many cores it has etc.)

In real-time projects - that depends entirely on the type of project ...

Hi Critch! Thats a great question. The difference in times may be reflective of difference in time zone or usage not reported while on an extended network. Are the times off by a few minutes or several hours? Does this happen with voice and messaging usage as well?

    DB:3.36:Critical Update Fail 8/19/12 xc

This event indicates the fact that the Windows boot time took an unusual long time. The time is recorded in milliseconds. For example, a 130912 ms boot time, means approx. 130 seconds, or 2 minutes and 10 seconds. This is quite a long time to boot and it
may be an indication of a problem. This event in itself does not record the reason why the boot took that long, just that it happened. Other events in the logs may point to the cause of the problem.
In many cases, the culprit is the hard disk. A Chkdsk should be run against all the drives in order to detect and fix corrupted files (it may not fix that particular problem but it doesn't hurt, either)
    This event report seems
irrelevant to your update. Can you post WindowsUpdate.log or more details about error information?Your Name

DB:3.28:Data Verification For Time Machine? mk

Does Time Machine use some type of bit for bit data verification?

DB:3.28:Data Verification For Time Machine? mk

You'll find that simply copying a file in OS X involves comparing the copy to the original bit by bit. The hash code is a code embedded in the packets written so that when the packet is retrieved at some later time the hash code is used to verify that the data being read from the copy is the same data that was written. The hash codes are unique so any defect in the copy from what was originally written will cause it to return a different code indicating a problem with the data in that packet. I fail to see how that is any different from what Chronosync is stating in their marketing information. Any piece of software could opt to suspend the use of normal data verification in order to make for faster file transfers in lieu of more reliable file transfers.

That said Chronosync is a good product that is a reasonable substitute for Time Machine. I certainly have nothing bad to say about it.

Can I use real time data in Qlik Sense?

I tried getting data from web file which is giving me real time data, but is it possible to get data on the spot while we run on server or cloud?

    Or there exists an extension?

Will you please help me?Just restart the backup.. it should be able to find it and continue.. there is nothing lost if it is just a time machine backup. The issue of the disk is the data drive has gone.. ie it has lost format or corrupted the drive.. this is entirely different to corrupt a backup. A drive must be fixed by low level format. A corrupted file must be deleted. Use the disk utility to check the drive. See A5 http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html

    Hi,

RDA means "real time data acquisition".

This a new concept in BI 7, where data is fetched from source at high frequency(every 1 min) is possible.

This is done with the help of Daemon program that takes care of triggering the infopack and DTP's.

Please check below link on RDA for more info:-

how can I force Diadem to Save the Time Channels as Explizit Data ???

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

DB:3.24:Forcing Diadem To Save Time Data Explicit d7

Hello Thomas, yes there is a way to do that, but it requires to set a variable with a short VBS.If a channel is loaded or created implicitely and expanded aftrewards DIAnem still remembers that the channel is implicite and tries to save it in that way.To remind the type of channel, DIAdem uses the variable ChnDataType(). Use chndatatype(1) = "Explicite" to set the first channel to explicite (you will have to expand the channel first)If you save the data afterwards, channel 1 will not be converted to implicite again.Hope this answers qour questionregards

    Hi
This problem definitely sounds like a HDD issue. Here's what I suggest.
    Create a restore point.
Shut down - Unplug all HDD's/CDROMS, USB Devicesetc., except for the boot drive.
Boot up and run chkdskC: /F /Rfrom DOS as Administrator.
(It will probably tell you the drive is locked, or something similar, and ask you if you want to perform the scan on the next boot. Answer Y(Yes), and reboot.
When the program finishes, shut down Windows and attach another drive and scan that one
Do this with all of your HDD's, or until your computer boots faster.
You should notice an extremely fast boot afterconnecting and running the command on the drive that is slowing down your boot.
    Good Luck

You need to supply correct date_to date_from values.

    Hi

Delta can also pick all your Employees data basedon the Selection conditions, provided you have Selection fields at InfoProvider -- Selection Tab -- Delta can capture all your needed / Restricted data basedon the selections you provide--

Try Init without Data Transfer -- Delta could pick all your requirement data -- Provided you have Back ground Memory space with time --You can request for Cutover Time/memory increase with BASIS team to upload this target, based on your possibilities.

But you can always try split loads from source system to Target system -- Info Packages -- Selective uploads even with Delta.

Hope it is helpful and clear this time.

    DB:3.21:Create Real-Time Data Acquisition Infopackage ? kd

    Hi Raju......

    Welcome to SDN.......

In RDA you only need infoPackage if you are loading data into BI using the Service API.

If you are transferring data using the Web service, you only need this type of InfoPackage. The InfoPackage applies the threshold values that are required for real-time data acquisition to the Web service.Switch from the InfoPackage to the monitor for real-time data acquisition. In the monitor, you define the daemon and assign a DataSource (and InfoPackage) and data transfer process to it.

When you will create the infopackage the Real TIme Flag must be selected for the infopackage which dwaemon will monitor.......

    Daemon for Real-Time Data Acquisition

A daemon is a background process that processes the InfoPackages and data

transfer processes assigned to it at regular intervals. It is used to control the

transfer process for real-time data acquisition. The daemon receives information

from the InfoPackage and data transfer process about which data is to be

transferred or updated further, which PSA tables or DataStore objects are to be

filled, and when a request should be closed and a new one opened.

When you extract data, the daemon works on the basis of the list of DataSources

assigned to it in the InfoPackage, extracts the data from the source systems, and

transfers it to the PSA table and DataStore objects.

It informs the Service API in the source system when the data for the source

system has been successfully updated. When the PSA request has been closed

successfully and a new delta request has been opened, the updated data is deleted

from the delta queue of the source system.

When you further update data to the DataStore objects from the PSA, the daemon

works on the basis of the list of sources (DataSources) and targets (DataStore

objects) assigned to it in the data transfer process. It transfers data to the DataStore

object. The data is written straight to the A table and the change log. If the

extraction or update is terminated, the daemon can restart the process from the

point at which it was terminated. In the case of data transfer processes, you can

determine the maximum number of errors that are allowed before the process is

    finally terminated.

    Hope this helps.........

    Thanks==Points as per SDN...........

    Regards,

    Debjani..........

Hi machman,You should consider using the initialize array function before your while loop starts executing. When you add data to an array that has not been pre allocated or initialized, then it is considered "on the fly". Here is a knowledge base that discusses different techniques to speeding up RT applications.

the longest time of your boot is spend loading all applications at startup. So use autoruns or msconfig to reduce the number of tools to run.

MS explained here in a video how to do this:

    Hi,

as you wrote before it takes more time than flat file export which is natural because of the QVX transformation. But, it might be interesting if it's speed up the load in QlikView.

Have you have made a comparison of a flat file (csv) and a QVX load in your case?

Time Capsule works great for Mac OS X, but I gave up to backup data from PC or Boot-Camp-W7. It's too complicated IMHO. I use Paragon or Acronis for PC-backups.

When looking at the Backup Information details I see the following.
    System Reserved Successful
    Operating SystemUnsuccessful
    H: Successful

The operating system resides on the C: drive and I have run chkdsk with no issues reported.

Any ideas whould be greatly appreciated as when I look at the event details nothing is jumping out as an issue.AJM

    DB:3.21:Whs 2011 Backup Unsuccessful Event Id 7 91

    Hi,
From your backup task result, it seems that only Operation System is not successful.
Towards the Event warning description, The backup operation that started at '‎2012‎-‎09‎-‎27T23:12:34.751360100Z' has completed with errors. Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup
operation once the issue is resolved.
Have you tried to rerun the backup operation to verify the OS could be backup properly?
At the same time, I suggest that you could run Windows Solutions Log Collector tool to verify the logging for the Backup Operational. Any findings please feel free to post back.

Anyone know how to add a time signal to be sampled with analog inputs in a VI so that the final measurement data file has a column of time data matched up with the sensor data?

DB:3.20:Read System Clock To Time Stamp Data 3a

You don't understand. If you choose to get a waveform data type, you automatically get a timestamp included in the data. Nothing extra has to be done. How you put that in a file is a different question. The Export Waveforms to Spreadsheet File will do it. Write to Measurement File will have a header with the start time and each row will a dt value (i.e. .001, .002, .etc), or you can create an arry of timestamps from the waveform data type, format it, append it to your data array, and use the Write to Spreadsheet File.

In the future, you might want to post similar questions to the LabVIEW board. Saving to a file is a LabVIEW question and qustions about analog inputs do not belong in the counter forum.

Some of the information that you ask is not there in docs yet and rest is there but spread across as per the product components it belongs to. I understand from your confusion that a ready reference which can cover end to end timezone information would have been very handy. We have started with an effort to create a tech note, I will update you once it is ready.

DB:3.19:Receiving Critical Boot Performance Message dd

This message means your Windows takes too long to boot. Your Windows takes 115 seconds to start.
Make sure you have the service Superfetch running and next try to speed up the boot with the help of my guide [1]. This trains the advanced prefetcher in Windows 7. This increase the boot performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are useless. Only use
this method with this Microsoft Toolkit.

If this doesn't speed up the boot process, follow my guide [2] to make a boot trace and compress the boot_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1.etl as 7z or RAR and upload it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

I take a look at the trace, maybe I see what's wrong with your Windows.

My Question: Should I update timesones by using "Sun Java SE Platform TZupdater Tool"
    java -jar tzupdater.jar -u -v

    the article "http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Intl/USDST/"
says: "The following Java platform versions have correct time rules to handle the DST changes that will affect U.S. time zones in 2007"

    Java SE 6 or later
    J2SE 5.0 Update 6 or later
    J2SE 1.4.2_11 or later
    J2SE 1.3.1_18 or later

    and my version is: v1 4.2 _12

    Thanks
    Vlad

    DB:3.19:Dst Update jz

Each new timezone release can add/delete Timezones depending on the data provided by the Olsen data. (tzdata) . The tool tests against the tzdata version bundled within the tool. So -u flag should be used first.

Zones added/removed can be seen at : http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Intl/FAQ_appendix.html

    Hi,

In update rules by selecting routine with return table option you can add extra records to data targets.

    regards,

This means, your Windows boots in 180s (3minutes) which is too much.

make sure you have the service Superfetch and ReadyBoost running and next try to speed up the boot with the help of my guide [1]. This trains the advanced prefetcher in Windows Vista.
This increase the boot performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are useless. Only use this method with this Microsoft Toolkit.

If this doesn't speed up the boot process, follow my guide [2] to make a boot trace and compress the boot_BASECSWITCHDRIVERSPOWER_1.etl as 7z or RAR and upload it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

I take a look at the trace, maybe I see what's wrong with your Windows.

    DB:3.18:Windows 7 Freezing, Pre-Install Hp All-In-One zp

I have a HP All-in-One200, with Windows 7 SP1. The only thing installed on it are regular windows updates, comodo, and microsoft office 2010. The computer has worked great until recent (when it first came across windows update) installation to IE9.
The computer has shown degregation since then and will randomly freeze. The mouse, keyboard, and everything goes into full lock out. I have to hard power down with the power button. I am unable to diagnose the issue given the random nature of it. It isn't
linked with a particular website. The other thing I monitor are my CPU temperatures, and there has never been a spike in temperature to suggest there is an heating issue. There seems to be some software hiccup since installing IE9 causing this??? I have tried
going through event logs and WER dumps, none of which are englightening to the issue. Perhaps someone of similiar background will have experiences such a thing and can guide me to an action. The computer is less than year old, seriously.... Here are
some of my event log things that are showing a trend around the events:

Please HELP!! This is driving me nuts!I can surf the web to some degree, as long as I only use the mouse and leave the keyboard well alone. Responding to emails or typing in user info to log into on-line services is the most enormous pain...I have found the following info in the event viewer but no solution on-line. There is a whole table full of these warnings from every time the pc went to sleep on me...If you are able to help, please make your solution as low-tech as you can, so I have a sporting chance...Many thanksWarning13/10/2009 11:45:19Diagnostics-Performance300Standby Performance MonitoringLog Name: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance/OperationalSource: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-PerformanceDate: 13/10/2009 11:45:19Event ID: 300Task Category: Standby Performance MonitoringLevel: WarningKeywords: Event LogUser: LOCAL SERVICEComputer: BrutusDescription:Windows has resumed from standby: Standby Duration:1652ms Standby Incident Time (UTC):13/10/2009 12:14:52 Resume Duration:901ms Resume Incident Time (UTC):13/10/2009 12:17:53 IsDegradation:falseEvent Xml:Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event" System Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance" Guid="{cfc18ec0-96b1-4eba-961b-622caee05b0a}" / EventID300/EventID Version1/Version Level3/Level Task4003/Task Opcode36/Opcode Keywords0x8000000000010000/Keywords TimeCreated SystemTime="2009-10-13T10:45:19.189Z" / EventRecordID1287/EventRecordID Correlation ActivityID="{00000001-0000-0002-A839-7DA1EC4BCA01}" / Execution ProcessID="1620" ThreadID="2016" / ChannelMicrosoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance/Operational/Channel ComputerBrutus/Computer Security UserID="S-1-5-19" / /System EventData Data Name="StandbyTsVersion"1/Data Data Name="StandbyAppCount"28/Data Data Name="StandbyServicesCount"18/Data Data Name="StandbyDevicesCount"166/Data Data Name="StandbyStartTime"2009-10-13T12:14:52.043Z/Data Data Name="StandbyEndTime"2009-10-13T12:14:53.695Z/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendTotal"1652/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendTotalChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryApps"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryAppsChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryServices"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryServicesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendApps"636/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendAppsChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendServices"3/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendServicesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendShowUI"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendShowUIChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSuperfetchPageIn"25/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSuperfetchPageInChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendWinlogon"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendWinlogonChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendLockPageableSections"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendLockPageableSectionsChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendPreSleepCallbacks"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendPreSleepCallbacksChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSwapInWorkerThreads"1/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSwapInWorkerThreadsChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryDevices"2/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendQueryDevicesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendFlushVolumes"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendFlushVolumesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSuspendDevices"982/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendSuspendDevicesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendHibernateWrite"0/Data Data Name="StandbySuspendHibernateWriteChange"0/Data Data Name="ResumeStartTime"2009-10-13T12:17:53.055Z/Data Data Name="ResumeEndTime"2009-10-13T12:17:53.527Z/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeTotal"901/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeTotalChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeHibernateRead"0/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeHibernateReadChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeS3BiosInitTime"430/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeS3BiosInitTimeChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeResumeDevices"471/Data Data Name="StandbyResumeResumeDevicesChange"0/Data Data Name="StandbyRootCauseDegradationGradual"0/Data Data Name="StandbyRootCauseImprovementGradual"0/Data Data Name="StandbyRootCauseDegradationStep"0/Data Data Name="StandbyRootCauseImprovementStep"0/Data Data Name="StandbyIsDegradation"false/Data Data Name="StandbyIsTroubleshooterLaunched"true/Data Data Name="StandbyIsRootCauseIdentified"false/Data /EventData/Event

The problem keep re-occurring and when it does the pc becomes practically unusable. I ran the sfc /scannow last night and found out that some corrupt files could not be repaired by the system. I don't know how to access the report though. Although I found the actual file, it keeps saying access denied...The error numbers are from the event viewer. A common denominator in the majority of entries is that some driver or another was slow to respond. which is not an issue in safe mode. I will copy the details of 3 examples below. The last entry is the most recent one. Whilst I tried to copy and paste, the system went down again. Surprisingly, the event only says that the pc got woken up - well, it shouldn't have gone to sleep in the first place. So, here goes...Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance/OperationalSource: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-PerformanceDate: 14/10/2009 20:43:41Event ID: 302Task Category: Standby Performance DB:3.18:Delete Data Files From Time Capsule sj

I copied some data files from an external drive to the data folder on the time capsule. Now I cant delete the files from the time capsule. I get a permissions notice. These are NOT backup files, only data files that I copied to the time capsule.

DB:3.18:Delete Data Files From Time Capsule sj

I was logged in as the same user that I used to copy the data to the TC.I ended up erasing the TC and restarting the backups. I will look into the windows option you gave the link for and see if that might be a better option for next time. Thanks for your help

have you ever run MSCONFIG ? it might be worth a try :) Click the Start Orb Navigate to Run (you can search or just follow through all programs, Accessories, Run ) type in msconfig click continue navigate to the start-up tab this is a list of all the programs that Vista is loading as you get into windows. What i usually do is Disable all and then when Vista reboots (this is the clever part) Vista knows which Vital programs it should be running at start up :) so you have no worries about Windows Defender not starting or your AV :)

    Hello,

DB:3.16:Get To Real Time Data md

I'll give a short answer. You can look at several real time solutions to transfer contacts and data. It just depends on the type of software you would like to use. You could be using a standard data integration solution.

Talend Integration Suite is a data integration program able to help you. It can help on other tasks and domains.

What is the best way of getting Real time data from a web server

    DB:3.14:Fetch Real Time Data jz

I think Micky is right.. You need to tell what sort data you will be pulling. But generally this should be your implementation approach...1. Implement a service to pull/read data from the server.Insert read items in the mesage queue (Persistable or non-persistable). You need to understand from the data provider how frequently data will be updated.. On criteria you will know whether data is new or old.. etc2. Implement a service to process each item from the queue. This architecture will allow you to scale each layer separately and also make sure you have capability to process all data..

    Hi,

make sure you have the services Superfetch and Readyboost are running and next try to speed up the boot with the help of my guide [1]. This trains the advanced prefetcher in Windows Vista. This increase the boot performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are
useless. Only use this method with this Microsoft Toolkit.

DB:3.14:What Is Time Dependent Master Data? 17

Can anybody explain me in detail with an example for time dependent master data?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sharat.

DB:3.14:What Is Time Dependent Master Data? 17

    hi,

the master data value changes with respect to some time characteristics.

say- Salesregion is a char that have sales rep as master data(attribute)

saleregion date from date to sales rep

    sr001 20/10/2007 20/12/2007 Ram

    sr002 21/12/2007 12/05/2008 Ram

in the above example Ram is in two sales region in different dates.

these type of attributes were time dependent.

usually time period will be defined in the data range of 01/01/1000 to 31/12/9999.

    Hi,

Can anybody please tell me whether real time data load is possible in BW 3.5.

    Regards

    Deep

    DB:3.13:Real Time Data Aquisition xc

    Hi,

SAP BW supports operational reporting on the data retrieval side by providing the option of loading data from the source system in near real time using a daemon. The real-time data acquisition process allows you to supply ODS objects from the ODS layer in SAP BW with this data for operational reporting purposes.

Before you can load real-time data into SAP BW, you need to enter the source system and DataSource of the data into table RSCRT_DTA_DS_LG, along with the name of the ODS object to which it is to be loaded.

    Regards,

I know this is an old topic, and I understand what to do in steps 2 and 3, but can you explain exactly what I am supposed to do in step 1? Step 1 appears to be a general discussion of Performance Monitoring and doesn't have any specific tasks to perform.
    Thanks,
    Harry.
