    The service is now working. Comcast initialized the service and after about 24 hours the service is working on both boxes.l

    I upgraded my DVR and the online DVR manager has a mind of it's own. The DVR on it's own works fine. The DVR manager has the record schedule from my old DVR and it thinks the new one is 100% full. When I try to record something online, it says that they DVR is no longer part of the system (I think it's looking for the old one). I tried the manager on my XFinity app on my phone, and that isn't seeing it at all.

    When did you connect your DVR? It sometimes can take up to 24 hours to fully sync.

    I have 2 DVRs (DCH3416) and 1 non-DVR (DCH3200) in the house and can only get the DVR manager to recognize one DVR. All three boxes are listed in the manager, but it can only communicate with one of the DVRs. One DVR correctly displays all scheduled recordings and when I click the other an error appears. I have power cycled the box that is not communicating with no change. Is this configuration known to work and if so, what can be done to correct the problem?

    If power cycling didn't help, then it boils down to a code issue with your account.

    Contact Comcast support and they need to review the codes and possibly remove then re-add the box that is not showing up correctly.

    Sorry, it is impossible for the external drive to connect and read the files from the drive and make them useable to a pc. The same with a Tivo, the drives are "married" to the device and can't be moved to another device and make them useable. These files do have some copy protection flag and formatsto prevent these files to be useable to anything else.

    The Studios have alot to do with how much these files are locked down and not able to copy off a drive or from device to device. They make it almost impossible to do anything with these files.

    With Tivo's multiple DVR's on the same account can move files from box to box or to a pc, as every device has the same "key" to keep the copy protection sync'd between the devices. Premium's and certain shows always have some copy protection that makes them impossible to move or play on another device. On the Tivo's you can't share these files to another user with their own Tivo, but they can be stored on a server or other storage device and then copied back when they are to be played.

    There are other solutions for archiving, justnot with a a Comcast DVR. The intent of a Comcast DVR is casual time-shifting and nothing more. Comcast Motorola equipped area's never were able to add a extra drive on those DVR's, which is over 80% of the Comcast systems.

    Ebay has both ligitimate and otherwise equipment. If you don't know how to determine the difference you are probably better of buying from the retail side of amazon or somewhere like newegg or JR.

    If the stolen item was puchased with paypal you are covered. Just file a claim with ebay.

    That did not resolve the issue, they have opened a ticket and contacted me. I am waiting to hear back from the technitions as to why my cable box is not communicating with their servers.

    Have you tried the following:

    Dvr syncing usually takes some time about 24-48 hrs?

    Try to rename the DVR's name in DVR manager and see if that helps?

    Have you called 1-800 comcast or 1-800 xfinity to see if there might be some accounting code not set correctly?

    I have 2 DVRS. One I call FAMILY ROOM and other DOWNSTAIRS. From my computer DVR Manager i usually set to record on DOWNSTAIRS DVR. I have set DOWNSTAIRS as DEFAULT DVR. BUt now when I schedule it puts it on FAMILY ROOM DVR. And it switches my default DVR to FR. This is frustrating the heck out of me. I never used to have this problem. I can usually switch back by first cancelling the FR recording then it goes to Modify and I can change to DOWNSTAIRS DVR.

    Side note what is TV CONTROL in DVR manager....it has on and off button but no explanation.

    I can confirm on the new format tv listings page the record is sending to the desired DVR here also. The change channel feature doesn't seem to work but I don't care too much about that. Sometimes that feature doesn't work and the next day it does, so it's worth waiting a day and trying again on the channel change.

    I have a Scientific Atlanta DVR and a non-dvr cable box. The dvr only works on one cable connection but the non-dvr box works on both connections just fine.     My old DVR finally gave out after years of good use. A tech came out to my house and swapped out a newer one. Today is Wednesday 12/19 and the DVR was swapped out Friday 12/14.

    However whenever I go to comcast.net - DVR Manager it shows that the DVR is still sync'ing.

    Sort of same story with XFinity app on my ipad and/or iphone. The Scheduled Recordings page shows no scheduled recordings for the next 14 days. Definitely not the case. Funny thing is, it shows the correct percentage that we have recorded, so it's at least partially communicating with the DVR.

    Is there something I have to do or will this eventually sync to comcast.net and my apps?

    This is working for me now. I contacted them on Twitter (@ComcastCares). I am not sure if they fixed it or if it fixed itself (they were still asking me questions when it started working), but for anyone else with issues -- Twitter seems to be a faster way to get a response.

    I have 3 STBs: 2 HD DVRs and 1 HD STB. Can I get DVR A to recognize DVR B and vice versa, such that I can watch programs recorded on either DVR on the other DVR or other STB?

    Background - very frustrated because I was told a few years back that FIOS didn't support MRDVR + DVR together, so I went with DVR + DVR in my house. Then 10 days ago when VZ replaced one of my DVRs (they thought it might be the root of ONDMD issues), after activation it would not act as a DVR so I called support. They finally got it to act as a DVR, and on top of that, got it to recognize the other DVR's recordings and vice versa. This worked marvelously for2-3 days. I went out of town for a week and upon return, the newer DVR (7232) wouldn't record any more, but would recognize the older DVR (7216). I called support again, and they said I can't have both set to be MRDVR. So they undid it and now I'm back to DVR + DVR but wondering how it worked OK for a few days. Any ideas? I'd really like to go back to having one DVR see the other and vice versa.

    If you mean a Externatl Esata Hard drive then yes. All that is doing is expanding the storage space on your DVR. Just remember that when you connect the Drive up that your current recording on the internal drive will stay on the internal drive and you won't be able to play the back unless you disconnect the external drive.

    I've never had an issue swapping boxes from one room to another. I had my DVR in my living room until I ran into the problem of not being able to watch HD when recording 2 HD shows, I moved it to the bedroom and had no issues. Now that my profile has changed, I don't have that issue any more, but I haven't bothered moving it back.

    I have a Motorola DCH3416 DVR. Works fine; can even see it remotely from laptop and Android remote app. However, I cannot activate DVR manager. Website tells me: "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household." I have spoken to 7 agents in the past 4 days, for a total of at least 5 hours of hold/talk time. We've confirmed my modem is DOCSIS 3, we've refreshed the signal multiple times to the DVR - nothing works. Most agents don't even know what to do, and every time I call, we have to recreate the wheel and re-establish what modem I have, what DVR I have, etc. Seems no one knows how to solve this problem, and I'm growing increasingly frustrated at the phone runaround. Today someone was on the phone with me for 40 minutes, telling me she couldn't see any of the previous calls I'd made. She ultimately transferred me to some activation department who told me I had to start over by calling 1800COMCAST - after 40 minutes of being on the phone! Customer service agents are really nice but the knowledge base is varied, and I just want DVR manager to work. Any advice?

    After getting the new guide and activating the DVR Manager feature I began experiencing problems with my DVR, such as manually overridden series recordings (e.g., save until, start early, end late, don’t record) reverting back to the default series settings, issues when paging though scheduled recordings, and certain programs not scheduling when set up as series recordings. In order to determine whether the problem was related to My DVR Manager I cancelled it from the DVR Remote Access Setup menu. However, when I returned to the web portal to view TV listings the feature was still activated, and it automatically reconnected to my DVR.

    I opened a support call with Comcast to find out how to turn it off until I wanted it back. Initially, they weren’t aware of the product (one rep adamantly told me that the feature doesn’t exist) and couldn’t figure out where to send the ticket. After two and a half weeks of callbacks, the final determination was that the feature cannot be deactivated. The suggestions given were to either live with it or find alternate sources of programming information and content (e.g., TV Guide, Hulu) in order to not use the portal.

    You need to know that your decision to activate My DVR Manager is permanent and irrevocable.

Initially, they weren’t aware of the product (one rep adamantly told me that the feature doesn’t exist) and couldn’t figure out where to send the ticket. After two and a half weeks of callbacks, the final determination was that the feature cannot be deactivated. The suggestions given were to either live with it or find alternate sources of programming information and content (e.g., TV Guide, Hulu) in order to not use the portal.

    You need to know that your decision to activate My DVR Manager is permanent and irrevocable.

I power cycled (unplugged for 1+ minute) two different times, but every time I now try to play a DVR recording the system is REALLY, REALLY sluggish and I can't get the recording to play, but the screen on the DVR shows "PLA".

    I recently had my DVR box replaced because it was defective. I had previously been managing that DVR using the MyDVR website (and iPhone app). I was trying to add my new DVR so that I can manage that online, but my previous (defective) DVR continues to show as my default DVR and there are no options to add a new DVR or remove the old one. My new DVR is the Motorola RNG200n (I've been told there's also a Cisco box with this same model number, however I'm certain my box is a Motorola).

    Is there a way to remove my previous (defective) box and add my new DVR box so that I may manage the DVR using the online service?

    DVR Manager is suddenly broken.

    DVR records and plays fine through the front panel or the handheld remote.

    DVR Manager now reports "unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household".

    What is the solution?

    Tech support by phone was useless. One agent did not even know what the DVR Manager was. I was told there were 3 boxes in my home, and asked which one was causing me the trouble? I explained there was only one with a DVR... went downhill from there.

    Who has had the same problem and how was it resolved?

The only way I can get to it is by selecting it from my subscriptions which I currently have an open question in. If I were looking for things related to this topic I would not be able to find them in this folder, DVR Manager, as it s not listed under the Xfinity TV tree. I think that this is a serious problem as I have 60+ views with 0 replies, probably because there is no link to this board.     I had been using the service on a regular basis with no problems when one day, without making any hardware or service changes, I began to get the screen that stated "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household." rather the the DVRmanager itself.

    I have a Motorola DCX-3400 HD/DVR Box. This box is listed as a DVR Manager Compatible DVR. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps, box resets and all other suggestions provided by Comcast help.

    I've seen other threads in this forum regarding the same issue that have been resolved. Any help would be appreciated. I can provide any other info as necessary.

    I want to program the new one using DVR Manager through Comcast online. But when I go to my DVR Manager pages, it just shows the old information from the previous DVR. I was hoping that I could make a small change to a scheduled recording online, and then have it apply to my new DVR. But it won't make the handshake as it doesn't recognize this DVR.

    But I can't figure out how, online or with my DVR remote, to add the new DVR to the Manager and remove the old one.

    Just for other information, it's been 3 hours since the swap and it still has a lot of onscreen guide to download. So I'm hoping that doing it online will be more efficient since shows from tomorrow haven't loaded in yet.

    It can take 48 hours or more for new equiment to show up on DVR manager. It should eventually self correct after the databases sync.

    MyDVR works on Motorola DVR's after the feature has been rolled out to the specific system. Comcast sends emails to the subscribers when that is available.

    It works on all Motorola DVR's both standalone and AnyRoom DVR.

    Having a problem where the internet cloud appears to be tied to the DVR I had before I got the X1 boxes. Been bounced around through 5 different departments on the phone with no solution in site.

    So I finally got the recordings to show up in the cloud. However, I downloaded several programs to my ipad to play on the TV app. I could not get any of them to play. I contacted the xfinity support in the number listed in the app. They told me to delete and reinstall it, which I did. Now, I've got a number of recordings that are listed as being on the ipad (using the same name as the ipad), but are not accessible because the program appears to think they are on a different ipad. I tried deleting the home account, but got an error message. So I'm stuck, I have a bunch of programs taking up space that I can't access and can't delete because they are checked out. And i still can't play anything that I download.

    X1 was installed about three weeks ago. I have one X1 DVR (Pace PX001ANM) and one X1 HD box (Pace PR150BNM).

    I can schedule DVR recordings from apps on my iPhone or iPad, but cannot schedule them from any PC. I have tried three different PCs, all with different web browsers, e.g. Internet Explorer 11 or Google Chrome. I have also cleared all cookies, browsing history, etc.

    At the bottom of the page I do see the name of my DVR, and if I go to Settings Manage Cable Boxes DVRs I do see the name of the DVR and the name of the HD box.

    I have had two tickets opened with Tier2 and they claim that they fixed the problem, but they did not. I am very tired of calling and chatting with Tech Support. Can someone from Comcast please escalate this issue? The previous ticket numbers are: CR366957608 andCR368361754.

    Have 3 DVRs. Until yesterday only the model 6412 DVR would show the recorded programs when 'My Recordings' was selected on my computer.. Called Customer Support and the model 3400 DVR was sent a 'Collection' signal and now it showsthe recorded programs when 'MyRecordings' is selected on my computer. But the model 3416 DVR, which was sent both a 'Collection'signal and a 'Warm Reset' signal still does not the recorded programs and instead displays the message 'This DVR does not support this feature.' When I checked the status of these 3 DVRs this morning,I could see the recordings on both the model 6412 and model 3400 devices but the one that shows the This DVR does not support this feature showed a triangle with an exclaimation point in it and when I clicked on the triangle the message 'This device is communicating with Device Manager. DVR Manager also indicated there were also no programs scheduled to be recorded at that time but I checked the DVR itself and there are scheduled programs on the device. This afternoon there is only the This DVR does not support this feature message.

    Is there a solution to this problem? The DVR in question's serial number is MA0801CAR755.

    Voted (pun) to make the switch to a new box. Made a list of 23 shows that were actively showing as scheduled for the next 2 weeks, disconnected the box and headed for local Comcast office. Requested and received a 'new' model 6400 box, the black one, They had been holding it for someone who was to come in yesterday but didn't. Nicely shrink wraped so it seemed it would be just what I wanted.

    After setting it up and calling to activate the box, both the person at Comcast and I gave up, the box woudn't work. Could only get one channel and the rest had the blue screen with a message to wait. Back to the office and this time they got one from the warehouse that they were sure it was new. Set it up and had a picture in 10 minutes. Now I have to wait for the guide to get its info so I can re-setup my recordings. So far onlly have tonights.

    I had my new DVRs installed Saturday morning. There are two boxes - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The DVR in the bedroom is connecting to the DVR Manager just fine. However, the TV in the living room will not. On the DVR Manager page, it says "This DVR does not support this feature." There was an activation code on the TV, but nowhere to enter it online.

    Not necessarily will they be the same models.

    When you get home, try and power cycling the DVR that is not working, unplug for two minutes, then power it up again for the apps to fully reload.

    There are also times that it takes a few days for the databases to sync up for these advanced features to start working.

    The DVR Manager online (http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/mytv/dvr) recordings does not match what is on DVR. When I go into the DVR online, I am seeing recordings dating back to August 2012. I go into the DVR and there are no recordings that far back.

    I selected it on DVR Manager and said play it now, and it did nothing, which makes sense to me since it is not on my DVR.

    How can I get these to be in Sync? I travel a lot and want to delete items using the online DVR manager, but if they are not in Sync, I am hesitant to trust the service.

    You can see that the DVR has no recordings beginning with the letter L, yet there are recordings shown on the DVR called Locked Up Abroad. These are nowhere to be found on the actual DVR using my TV. This is just one example of what I am seeing.

    Yes Joe. They match 100%, everything matches, my season passes, channel lineup, and i can control my DVR box from the web...There is only one thing that does not match and that is the Recordings on the DVR.

    For example, my DVR on TV is showing my DVR at 38% Full, yet athttp://xfinitytv.comcast.net/mytv/dvr,it is showing 42% full. So right there is a problem. How much time should it take for a deletion on the DVR to be reflected online and vice-versa.

    If I delete show A online, will it/should it take 30/60/90 seconds, or 5 minutes for the DVR to reflect this. I would expect it to be quick since I can control my DVR using my Ipad, Web Browser, Android, so it is direclty communicating with the DVR.

    While onhttp://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv-listings,when I click on watch on TV, it changes the channel immediately.

    I just deleted an item from my PC at 527pm. It was deleted from my only DVR in my house within seconds..

    I received a replacement for an HD-DVR that failed. With the replacement HD-DVR came a new programming card. Do I use the new one or take out the one from the old DVR and use it in the new DVR when I connect it?

When I couldn't get the dvr manager to see the new dvr for on-line programing, a tech came to house and said "everything good; it will just take time - maybe 4 days". I have had a few live chats since then -- very frustrating and still not working. Anyone else had this or know about why it would take so long? Any tips?

    I want to thank you for taking the actions that you took which started me with a very nice tech who worked with me for days (it's not been working since 8/21) and then kicked it up a notch to another team, which resolved it. Everything works, and I got very courteous and very nice service. Though frustrating, the issue has been resolved well.     Can any one provide a rule book that explains how toprogram two DVR boxes and use online scheduling? I am way better off than I was with AnyRoom DVR but I am still perplexed by what actually happens with 2 DVR. I am currious as to what syncing boxes does. I can programe on DVR and watch it on either but ironically the delete option does not cause the listing from the recording DVR can be completely disappear from the other DVR (eventually they do). Making Permanent deletions also seems counter-intuitive. I cannot find my way back to where which DVR is primary but is seems the primary DVR has the deletion issues.

    After multiple chat sessions think I am fullyoperational. I refused to check wires or do other nonsense that had nothing to do with the problem and I rejected the need for a $70 tech visit. Ilost some of the saved programs in the process. All I can say is if all the chat techs were as good as Immanuel, Comcast wouldn't be regarded as providing awful customer service.

    In another instance of bad service, I was told my cable modem hard wired to my backup PC was nearing EOL - something about firmware. I bought the replacement one most higest recommended. My PC accepted the new modem with a simple reboot with no installation CD. Getting it activated was another typical Comcast ordeal. My first chat session froze with the tech telling for me to standby. After a half an hour of inavtive chat I closed the window. I discovered the new modem was working fine but my router internet connection on my primary PC would only boot to an activation screen that did not work. The Comcast site accessed through the new modem didn't show me as having any internet at all. Spending an entire afternoon on a simple product upgrade was a major annoyance despite the fact I am retired and have plenty of free time. Most annoying of all, they can never explain what caused the issue or what they needed to do to fix it. If ATT hadn't dropped the Hallmark channels, we would no longer be Comcast customers.

    for starters, you need an HD receiver to be able to stream from the HDDVR via WHDVR. you cannot use trick play while watching LIVE TV on the HD receiver. you can use trick play when streaming from then HDDVR. but if you set to record the currently LIVE show on the HD receiver and play it back using WHDVR, then you will be able to use trick play

    I recently added a multi-room dvr to my FIOS package along with the current DVR I have had since original installation. It doesn't seem they can share recordings between them. They are acting like DVRs, but tried a few combinatoins of recording and neither one sees recordings from the other.     Hey Keyboards, just to confirm, you can share content between the multiroom dvr and the for lack of better work stand alone dvr? Every assistant told me it couldn't be done.     I have three set top boxes and one DVR in my house. The DVR works fine for all functions. The 3 other boxes show the same message - "DVR Service is not available or is currently disabled. Please call....." whenever i try to access any recorded shows from the main DVR. Somehow the remote boxes are not communicating with the main DVR.

    The DVR is aMOTOROLA MORN200N. The other boxes are twoMOTOROLA MR150CNM and oneMOTOROLA MORN150N. These models are according to my online account equipment list.

    Any suggestions? And yes, i have unplugged the dvr and one set top box to see if it mattered. Same message. And the small set top boxes get all channels and function fine. They just don't access the DVR.

    To follow up .... I had a very nice Comcast tech rep named Larry contact me and arranged to have all my tv equipment (DVR and 3 receivers) upgraded to the X1 platform. All were installed and are working flawlessly so far. He also was to have a newer XB3 gateway delivered but the technician apparently didn't have any with him. I will follow up on this at some point.

One feature that I liked in DN's DVR was that I could search for movies with "2011" (or another year) in the "info" section and that would show a list of all the movies that were released in 2011 (and available).

One of your techs came out to my home this morning and installed the new DVR (a Cisco RNG200N and a $50 service call), but DVR Manager is still unavailable to me. When I access my account on-line DVR Manager comes up with the following message " DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.". By the same token when I use the Infinity App on my iPhone or iPad I get the message "No eligible TVs". Help!!

    the comcast dvr only allows one output. So if you use hdmi for say one tv the rest will not work. Even if they did both tv's you had it hooked up to would be showing the exact same channel as your using the same tuner. If your with dish going to comcast will be a big step backwards for you. You should stay with what you have. you will not be happy.

    Keep in mind you can only stream 1 HD show at a time per dvr. ( or Two SD shows). If you have one Multi room dvr and 3 stbs, viewing is limited on those stbs and you want to watch hd show stored on multi room dvr. Also, when I mean STBs, I mean all boxes (Dvrs and standard stbs)

    The only way to do something like that is you get the multiroom dvr which give you one real dvr and up to 3 more slave type boxes which only allow you to access the main dvr's hard drive. This is available in the motorola market and is starting to roll out in some of the SA cisco markets, but if you two dvr's you cannot share the recordings on them as they are not hooked up to eachother in any way.

    I have a HD DVR motorola fios STB and it has worked perfectly for 2 years. A few days ago I came home to notice all 80% of my recordings on my DVR were deleted somehow while I was at work. I was very upset but I got over it and re-added all my usual recordings to the now blank series manager. After two days now every one of my new recordings are skipping and freezing the DVR where it cannot turn off with the remote or with the power button on the STB. I have a feeling the hard drive is somehow corrupted or has something wrong with it and I want to get this fixed since I am paying for DVR every month.

    Does anyone know if I can talk to verizon and exchange the STB for one that works or what I can do to fix the current harddrive issues. Any more info you need to help I can provide. Thanks

    To update everyone on my situation, I called Verizon on Sunday and after trouble shooting they agreed to mail me a replacement dvr stb....it arrived yesterday and I hooked it up and installed it. (It was the same older model and could tell it was probably refurbished because of a couple scratches. But I didn't care I just wanted to watch TV again.) Unfortunately about 5 minutes after completing the setup the new box turned itself off and reset back to the standby menu. Everytime I would turn it on it would turn itself off 1-2 minutes later. A completely new problem than the other box. I called Verizon 3 times last night going through different troubleshooting methods that would add an extra few minutes before shutting off. At this point by the end of the 3rd call they agreed to send a tech out to our house today. The tech was extremely friendly and understanding. He looked at the box do its shutout trick and knew it was a bad box and not any cables or connection. He had a new QIP7000 model with a 2x bigger harddrive in his truck (like someone above mentioned) and hooked it up, installed and got us back up. I was patient thru the entire process because I have had fios for over 2 years and have never had an issue before knew it would work itself out. Thanks everyone for your help

    Using either the iPhone app or the web manager, programming a show to be recorded results in a listing in both upcoming recordings and saved recordings of title unavailable. Shows are listed by channel and date and time. That's unhelpful.

    in addition, what's showing as what is saved on the DVR currently is wrong. If I delete or add something on the DVR itself, the changes arenot syncing tothe DVR manager or iOS app.

    And finally, I cannot program a series to record, but only individual episodes.

    All in all, it's a massive fail.

    I am having a problem with our whole-home system and hoping there is an easy fix. We have one DVR in the kitchen.     For one of my nondvr receivers the whole house dvr is not working. The lights on the white box for the whole house dvr are not lighting up. When this box is plugged into another receiver the lights are working and the whole house dvr works on the other receiver. I believe there is a problem with the receiver not powering/recognizing the white whole house dvr box.

    I'd guess you have a receiver with a bad Ethernet card. Convincing a CSR to send you a replacement might be tough unless the receiver suddenly will simply not power on, no lights, nothing.

    I have a NRG200N DVR. After numerous resets of my DVR from the techs and online help I finally was able to use the XFINITY App on my iPhone 4S. I will say a Comcast tech was supposed to call me within 72 hours when this case was escalated but the call never came. It worked great for about a day and then my eligible DVR disappears and is replaced by my standard def box. A day later my DVR shows up again and works for a couple hours then again it’s gone. Each time my DVR is dropped my standard def box replaces it in the app.Currently, the standard def box available and not DVR. DVR manager states this:DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we areunable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.I’ve had the app see the DVR yet not be able to control it also.I’ve got some serious hours into this and my girl is about to throw me out for spending so much time on this. I’m about ready to give up. The reason I went with Comcast TV was because of the app and dvr manager. So, far neither of them works consistently.     the app should work with that pace box. are you able to watch xfinity tv on your computer. you need to get that working first before you can even think about using the app. The app takes a few days to synch with the compatible cable boxes. What does your pc say when you go to xfinity tv and then to dvr manager. The key is to get it all working there. I have seen instances where if you delete the app from your phone and then reinstall it but dont have in on in the app settings then go to login it works.

    Make sure your zip code on your account on your pc is set to your actual zip code not just automatic. Also comcast is known to have this app working one day then the next it doesnt work. I have no problems with it on my iphone with my motorola boxes. Give those a try. YOu can also try giving your phone a hard reset after deleting the app then try to reload

    also in your box menu if you go to set up and then you should see remote access set up. If you go in there the only option should be delete. you can delete it and then try to resynch from the app. You also have to be in front of your tv's when the app tries to synch as you have to acknowledge the message it sets through the box. There are so many things to try to say which is your issue is impossible. I would start with this list and if you still cant get it to work after all this then report back.

    you also have to think to yourself, is the idea of being able to set your dvr from your phone that important to waste all this time? all you can really do with the app is set a recording, you cant delete one or actually delete shows from your dvr. Ihave the app working and have never used it as I know what I want to watch and already have it set to record.

It appears that I can control one DVR (which works well). But I can't figure out how to configure/install the app so that I can control both. Any ideas?

    This solution won't work. It tells me that the number is already registered. It's almost like I need two numbers (one for each DVR) registered?

    I need a DVR that will use a IR as my DVR is in a closet. The tech. brought out one that has an IR input but is not a DVR. Please have someone call/contact me ASAP.

    I was just on a call to Comcast and spoke to 4 different technical support specialist and was on the call for 1 hr and 25 minutes and finally had to hang up because I was so frustrated that NONE of these technicians could solve my problem!

    I have a new replacement DVR box that I got last week and it works fine but I cannot get the DVR Manager to work! It keep saying "syncing in progress" and has stayed that way for a week now!

    I changed my password and signed out and back in several times and it still did not change.

    None of the technicians could offer any help which I find beyond frustrating! I unplugged the box, they sent the signal several times and nothing has worked!

    My last box worked fine on the DVR Manager but this one will not. Plus I cannot use the app on my iphone either because the "record" button is not there which I'm guessing is because the DVR Manager is still syncing??

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I am very frustrated after being on the phone for 1 1/2 hrs with no resolution!!

    Help mine is doing the same thing, My old DVR box worked great now I have a new one and it keeps saying syncing in process I just want to be able to go on an record my shows, my box is (Motorola DCX3400) please help me.

    I got a new DVR to replace the defective one today. It's up and running, I can watch TV, access VOD, My DVR, etc. from the remote control. But when I go to the internet I cannot get DVR to manager to work any more (it was fine with the old DVR). I get this message: DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.

    The new DVR is the same model as the old one, nothing else has changed that I can think of. I was able to activate the DVR online successfully.

    My old DVR broke, cable man just came by and installed a new box. I had previously registered the old DVR online/iphone app so that I could control DVR remotely. However, old DVR is still showing online/iphone app under "DVR Settings" (Manage Cable Boxes DVRs)... there is no option to delete/replace old one with new one. Womp.

    Please help.

    I don't have a date yet that I can announce for when the DVR Manager feature on our existing legacy DVRs in Memphis. As I mentioned above,It is still expected to be early this year.
