    Hi,

    We are moving one company from one SAP box to another box and we need to extract the PM data (task lists and maintenance plans) from the source SAP box.

    We are going to upload the data to the other SAP box using LSMW so I need to extract the data directly fron the tables and then specify the load layout.

    The LSMW is not the problem, but to find all the tables involved in the objects I mentioned.

    Can anybody please help me regarding the tables that concern task lists and maintenance plans.. all the tables involved please.

    I already have checked the PM-SD tables listed in another posts but I can't find the tables I need.

    You can use either M2 as suggested by Jogeswara or you can use M1 as well but you need to put "Breakdown" Indicator check box so that system can understand it as the breakdown.

    See this all depends on client processes and reporting requirements.

    We are performing manual calls in IP10 for some past due maintenance plans at a new plant. We had about 80 fail due to an error of " No task list selected". We have double checked plant info, strategy, maintenance activity type, equipment, and maintenance package. Also, other maintenance plans successfully scheduled with the task lists. When attempting the list of 80 a second time we have found that more of the plans are scheduling and the error list is shrinking. Does anyone have any idea about what could be causing this error and how we might be able to resolve?

    maintenance plan start date: 01.04.2011

    The relation is as follows

    AFKO-AUFPL (Routing number is Order header)

    Use this routing number to get operations from AFVC

    AFVC-VORNR gives operation number

    AFVC-LTXA1 gives operation description

    For sub-operations, VORNR will be sub-operation number, and AFVC-SUMNR for this sub-operation corresponds to the respective superior operation(refers to AFVC-APLZL).

    AFVC-APLZL is a unique number for each operation.

    Hope this helps. You can check with some existing/new orders as well.

    I have tried removing MANDT from tables for make them mandant- independet, but DIALOG for maintenance for both at the same time using views doesnt work...

    QUESTION: How to create one standard maintenance dialog using master data and its language texts, using sy-langu as default ?

    I know you have, so you dont want that design? I mean to me, it would work just fine.
    The way you have it now, you have the table Maintenance Log, containing the latest Log data.

    The only remaining question, I have for you, how is the Form build up filling up the Log data?
    I assume its Unbound, so you need then some code to Append the Form Log data to your table Maintenance Log.

    I do not know of a report that provides information about the settings in SE11 'Delivery and Maintenance'. You may try look into table DD02L for the same. This is a table for table characteristics.

    Here, I believe you are looking for these selections :

    CONTFLAG : Gives the delivery class of the table (Appl table, system table, table for temp data etc.)

    MAINFLAG : Shows the maintenance characteristics (Display or maintenance allowed/not allowed/restrictions)

    I have created task lists and hierarchical task lists. In the task lists I have given the PM/PS reference elements. I have created maintenance plans with notification generation and in the notification type I have added the mantenance plan tab. I have scheduled the maintenance plans,which are with the hierarchical task lists, and have got the notifications generated. I have created the revision and added the notifications to the revision and generated the work order.

    But in the work order, in the additional data tab, the PM/PS references are not showing up. Why?

    It also suggests that if the lists arent 2 sql tables then i wont get this option.

    Did you apply the standard SAP solution like described in Suhas Saha's link ?What are now the primary keys of your table ?Did you read the document following Time-Dependent Table/View in SAP documentation, Generate Time-Dependence ?Are you working on a (very) old version of SAP, then you may require to execute report RSVIEWTD (ref : Note 92394 - Time dependency for customer tables not usable)
    Then if the standard solution does not fulfil you requirement, you may have to build your own program for maintenance or manage it by using Extended Table Maintenance Events.

    When you use the dbms_stats.gather_table_stats package make sure that you collect histogram data on the table using the method_opt parameter. This is not the default behavior, but is something that the 'analyze table' command will do. It is also a good idea to make sure that any valid cursors that depend on this table are invalidated once that statistics have been gathered using the no_invalidate parameter.

    I am creating a report that pulls data from one base table (equipment) and several maintemamce tables. The maintenance tables are built according to the type of equipment and the maintenance being performed (example: A/C equipment would have separate tables
    for routine maintenance associated with cleaning, and another table for diagnostic maintenance, and yet another table for corrective maintenance (I didn't design this mess).
    For the sake of the report, I'm trying to use a SWITCH expression based on the equipment type with a lookup to the specific maintenance table to grab the value of the field in question. I'm receiving an error based on scope, which leads to my question: Can
    I have the value determined by a lookup within a SWITCH expression?
    If the answer is no, I could use suggestions as to how to grab this data. Due to the number of equipment types and the breakout of maintenance tables, joining them in the query would mean joining conditionally over 40 tables.

    I hope you can help. If not, at least your Monday got better by virtue of the better you than me syndrome....

    I am storing data in multiple SP Lists creating relations via unique IDs. Now we realized, that it is NOT POSSIBLE to query those table in a SQL way - we are unable to aggregate two or more lists in one CAML query to obtain data from two or more lists (i.e. one lists contains projects, second project phases and ids of projects from the first list and we need to select from bot lists projects and phases linked through ids).The problem is that it seems that there is NO WAY how to query such joined / linked lists with CAML. Can this task be accomplished in another way? Please help.
     
    Otherwise we will have to redesign all to use SQL tables and then design GUI to look like sharepoint list maintenance.

    I have 2 tables ZHEADER and ZLINE. In the table ZHEADER all i have is key fields which are foreign keys of

    PROBLEM: I want to create a Maintenance view in which i can do the maintenance for both the tables from SM30.

    In the join conditions when i key in ZHEADER and click on Relationship button it doesn't pull up the fields as expected.

    Using windows 7 and office 2010. I have managed to create a number of contact lists in Outlook. I would like to eliminate several so I have only1 or 2 on each of my 2 computers. I have installed Codetwo sync for Outlook and the jury is still out. I suspect

    What happens if I simply delete some of these Lists, leaving the one for my embarqmail account and one for my msn account (apparently now outlook.com) I have found where to delete them.I can always restore as I have backed them all up offline.
    Since the removal of msn account my msn mail is not getting to the old account. This is screwed up.

    My project contains more than 200 maintenance tables.
    Maintenance tables are very small and less than 100 lines.
    Maintenance tables mostly associated with a translation table.
    Translation tables are used for localized texts.
    Translation tables consists of Master Table Key + LanguageKey.

    I want to edit customizing tables only session language as single table.
    Translation table row may or may not be. Thats mean relationship is 1 to 0..1.

    ADF table control ignore this relationship.
    I tried view link between master view and detail view objects, but if translation table line is empty ADF table control throws translation iterator is null exception.
    I tried entity based left joined editable view I get view link inconsisty problem.

    In this case, the BC forcing me to framework extension.
    How is develop solution?

    OK, definetly a 10,000 foot view here as reading the spec made my brain hurt ;)

    Essentially, what we do with Turbo ACL's is we take the internal set of access-lists and build a set of data tables. Each ACE in the ACl gets an "index" value assigned to it. This index value is computed based on an algorithm that looks at the source IP, dest IP, protocol, L4 port, etc... When a packet comes into a PIX that has turbo ACL's configured, this same "indexing" occurs and a value is determined. We then use that value that is computed for the new packet and compare it to the values assigned to the individual ACE's in the data tables to find the ACE that the new packet would match and then process the packet accordingly.

    This lookup process has been shown to be MUCH faster than the standard linear lookup used with a linked list ACL (normal).

    Anyway, that is more or less the crux of it. Hope this helps shed some light.

    I have some MS Access tables with the foreign key relationship between them in Access DB (MS Access 2013).
    When I export all of them to SharePoint 2013 site, they are converted as custom lists.
    Now I create linked tables in MS Access using these lists. (Whatever I update in these linked tables will reflect in Sharepoint lists and vice versa).o:p/o:p
    The issue here is, the foreign key relationships that are there in the Access tables are not retained in the linked tables and the referential integrity is not imposed while creating
    new records in the linked tables.
    I would predominantly use MS Access to edit/append the tables. SoI want the linked tablesto impose the referential integrity automatically. Is there any way to achieve this?

    I've created an Access database to tracking our equipment maintenance information but I needed the tables to be stored in a shared location. Our company has started using Sharepoint 2010 Foundation as our intranet and I figuredI could uses linked SP
    Lists to store the information. Everything works great in the Access 2007 front end applicationfor approx.15 minutes. After 15 mins, if I haven't queried or openeda table that is linked toan SPlist,my link to that SP list
    seem to disappear because I get an error that the database engine could not find the object '(SPListName)'. It appears that I can reopen tables that were already open in the first 15 mins, probably due to local cache, but if I close the database, I can't open/query
    any tables linked to SP lists. I've found that, if I leave the Sharepoint 2010Foundation site (where the lists are stored)open in the web browser, refreshing the webpage allows me to open/query the linked tables again in Access.
    My Sharepoint username and password are stored/remembered so that it automatically logs in on my computer when I access the webpage. I am assuming that when I refresh the Sharepoint webpage that it is re-logging in and thus restoring connection.

    Why am I having a connection issue to the Sharepoint linked lists? It almost seems like it is timing out.

    I think this problem is due to the SP Login Token expiring. I do not have control to set that time, but I have found a vba work around.

    I have setup a function that checks if my SP site is open inInternet Explorer. If it is, then it refreshs the page and thus renewing the login token. If it isn't open, then the function opens Internet Explorer and navigates to my SP site and thus starting
    a login token.
    I use this function in the onload and timer event of a hidden form that loads in Access at startup. The timer event fires every 15 mins (or whatever time matches the login token expiration)

    I am still getting duplicate values.
    When the query grabs a value from the labour table it also grabs the values from the other tables and puts them in the same row... There are many rows in the three costs
    tables and only one in the work table.

    I have a dump of the rows but I cannot find a way to save it here.

    If you don;t want user to enter data in all the fields of table then you will prefer mainternance view over table maintenance generator.

    All possible operations were maintained in a General Maintenance Task Lists, I wonder whether the SAP system could only select the specific operation during maintenance order creation when particular characteristic values in the classification of EQUIPMENT apply.

    (I created Object Dependencies for individule operations of general maintenance task lists)

    Done up to now:

    I have created a configuration profile for the General Maintenance Task Lists, assign a class and characteristic value.

    Now the system can select the operation based on the characteristic value in configuration profile.

    which means I need to create several configuration profile for the General Maintenance Task Lists, it would be not convenient to just maintain specific operation in corresponding GM task lists.

    Can the system select the operation based on the char values in EQUIPMENT?

    Please advice.

    Nothing will be effected, make sure that all deleted objects dependent that is FM and Function group add into another TR. First transport the primary objects TR (tables TR) and after that release the second TR which contain the FM and Function group.

    stuff on codeplex to let SSIS work with lists. But I can't find anything that explains how to use SSMS to connect to sharepoint lists and work with them as if they were tables. Ultimately, that's what they are, right? Sharepoint uses SQL,
    and I'd be amazed if lists aren't stored interally as tables.
    I'm surprised no one has posted a straightforward way for SSMS to connect to sharepoint lists.

    SSMS is a SQLServer management studio tool. Obviously it cannot be used to mange SharePoint because SharePoint is not meant to be managed via SQL tools.
    nd work with them as if they were tables.
    SharePoint lists are NOT tables.
    SharePoint Lists are comprised of 1 or many content types. each content type has multiple columns. Content types can be used across 1 or many lists.
    Do not design a solution on SharePoint thinking that you are working on a database. you will repent it. its not a DB.

    nd I'd be amazed if lists aren't stored interally as tables.
    List data is stored internal SharePoint tables... but Lists themselves don't become independent tables.

But the problem is that some controls in a repeating group only show the first entry in Sharepoint. I am aware that when I publish this form to our Sharepoint site and I come to the columns part, the function for some drop-down lists and date entries and text boxes are set to the first entry. But I want to show all of them. How do I do this? I am also fairly new to Infopath - about one week of tinkering and spending too many hours in it. I am a bit more experienced with Sharepoint, so I believe the problem is entirely with Infopath and not Sharepoint.

    In most cases, you can overcome this by executing the report RSSNR0T1 (Consistency check and repair of number range intervals). This report lists the inconsistencies and eliminates them (with F11 = "Confirm").

    Dear friends,

    I have given seven day packages for all the operations in the maintenance task lists and assigned the same strategy in the maintenance plan. The problem is I am getting the maintenance call object 7 days before the plan date.I.e the plan date for the order is on 23/02/2010 but the maintenance order is released on 16/02/2010 itself. The call horizon is 90% and scheduling period is 999 days and cycle is 7 days

    Cycle modification is 1.00 and all the remaining are blank( no buffer is used).

    Hi Freinds,

    I have 2 tables

    zemp and zdept and also i have defined foriegn key relationship between this two tables using a comman field DEPTNO. when i trying to create Maintenance View, its showing the following error

    *No database view exists for view ZMAINVIEW*_

    can any one help me how to solve thos problem

    Hi sri,

    First open se11 and go for views and select maintainence views and copy then it shows screen asking table name here first its enough if u specify one table and go for relationships then you can have pop up showing that what are the tables having relations wiht your basic table if it shows that 2 tables then it is correct if not something wrong in when you assigned foregin key to the table.

    When using transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR and Transaction type SDMN - Status Not Completed, I get a list of open Maintenance cycles, When using transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR and Transaction type SDMN - Status All, I get a different list of open Maintenance Cycles. Is there a way to synchronize these so the same open maintenance cycles display in both lists? Thanks

    there should be no noticeable effect on replication besides possibly some latency.
    As always, it is best to perform database maintenance during off-peak periods when possible.

    We few 1000 custom tables that have table maintenance . but some of the table maintenance screen not will display in full screen. ( ie we need to use scrolling to view the column (field) ) .

    I like to know is there any easy way we can display the table mainteance in full screen.

    PS Please donot suggest to go to table maintenance screen and drap to full screen

    I would like thoughts on the following situation...
    I have a lot of look up tables (over 100) that are so infrequently updated that a UI was never created to manage the data. These tables are used for dropdown lists on well over 500 screens. We still need the data in SQL Server for reports and such, but we are considering exporting out the look up table data to XML for faster page response times.
     
    What are some low/no maintenance alternatives to pushing out the SQL Data to the xml files?

    It is not quite clear to me where you said exporting out the look up table data to XML for faster page response times. Are you looking for a way to move SQL Server data to XML file? If yes, you can use the FOR XML clause to genreate an XML representation of the data and can use SSIS or bcp or other similar utilities to move it to a physical file.
     
    Could you elaborate the requirement a bit more detail?

    I have created a maintenance view. Which is join with Ztable, USR21, ADRP tables with foreign key relations.

    in my view fields there is one filed SMTP_ADDR (e-mail) from the table ADR6.

    I have no foreign key relation with above tables for the ADR6 table.

    How can I add this field to table maintenance and display its value?

    Kindly provide the suggestions.

    You can make use of PERSNUMBER which is present in ADR6,ADRP ,USR21.

    And also you can make use of selection condition tab.

    In most cases, you can overcome this by executing the report RSSNR0T1 (Consistency check and repair of number range intervals). This report lists the inconsistencies and eliminates them (with F11 = "Confirm").

    How can I execute the report RSSNR0T1 ?

    You can run this in SE38 RSSNR0T1 by pressing F8. It will ask you to enter Number range object for material master. You can enter MATERIALNR and execute.

    Press F11 = Confirm/Save on the results list and the report restores a consistent status.

    I am just now getting my feet wet with LS and one thing I am trying to understand is Choice List. Specifically, does it create a table that backs it? If not is there a way to have it populated by a Query in LS? I am primarilly concerned
    with maintainability going forward as we have a lot of Admin tables in the database that contain what it seems like the Choice List is for.Thank you,
