    Hi,
    I am encountering the JMS Exception 'Error deserializing object'. I do not have
    the stack trace. The same code works perfectly fine 99% of the time. It throws
    exception at random very rarely.
    Can anyone help me with the possible causes of this exception.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I had installed SP15 the day before.

    Our eLearningmanagement CLIX uses the JMS-Provider to communicate with xi.

    With SP 12 all worked fine.

    Since I have installed SP15 I get follow error.

    Returned because an Exception occured in deserialization process: [java.lang.NoC

    I have also updated the client libraries in CLIX.

    Can anybody help me please?

    Hi,

    There was a requirement to call a webservice created in .net. So a Deployable Proxy was created in NWDS. When a method of the webservice is called , the following error is encountered.

    DB:3.11:Xml Deserialization Error 1p

    Hi Trevor ,

    We are using a Webservice Navigator to check the response from .Net Webservice. We are Partially receiving the response with the Deserialization Error. Web Services Navigator is a tool that gives a short overview for a specific Web service based on its WSDL and allows you to test Web service by sending a client request.

    When we are calling the function through NWDS nothing is retrieved as there is an exception.

    Thanks and Regards,

    OK Here is my concern if I understand clealy there 2 levels of
    serialization here ... One is to deserialise the Object which is in the
    Message and
    there is the EJB where u get the EJBObject out of the Handle which does the
    deserialization..on the handle..
    My question is the ObjectMessageImpl will try to resolve the second
    level of deserialization.????

    if this yes??? It seems like not a right way as the second deserilization
    has to happen on the method call of the handle.

    Yes what if the EJB has been removed???? I am not calling methods on the

    why is it trying to resolve the handle...???? I expect that it only gives me
    the handle back.. I am handling the exception when I am calling method on
    the Handle...

    And also why do u think it is not a good idea to send an EJB handle to a

    Find out if the bean is being removed by coding some messages in the
    ejbPassivate() and ejbRemove() . Consider sending info to the MDB using a
    serialized java bean. I personally think that it is not a good idea sendan

    DB:2.95:Integration Of Sunone Server With Websphere Mq 18

    I am trying to use an MDB with WebsphereMQ. The Sunone Server and the MQ services are on physically different machines. I have followed the example setup in the MDB Simple Sample Application. I beleive my problem is that the Sun One server is assuming that MQ is on the same machine.

    This is the dump:

    DB:2.94:Advised Classes After Serialization 7x

    Hi All-In JBoss Messaging the JMS facade functionality is mainly provided by a set of client side interceptors and a set of server side interceptors that intercept all calls to the JMS API as they travel from JMS client to JMS server.Currently the interceptor stacks are implemented using dynamic proxies (i.e. "old style"), but we're considering refactoring them so they're implemented using JBoss AOP to advise the client class with an interceptor stack.We don't want to have any configuration data (e.g. jboss-aop.xml) on the jms client side. So if we were to do this we would want to advise the class on the server side and serialize the advised class back to the client side where it can be used.My question is this:Are JBoss AOP advised classes still valid (i.e. are they still advised) after being serialized from one JVM to another? Do the advice scopes (PER_VM, PER_CLASS, PER_INSTANCE, PER_VM) still hold?E.g. If we advise a class with some PER_VM advice then serialize two instances of it to another JVM, then on deserialization do we only have one instance of the advice?Is there anything else we should watch out for with an approach like this?CheersTim

    DB:2.94:Advised Classes After Serialization 7x

    Whether or not it will work in this case I can't guarantee, but we do support dynamically adding/removing aop.xml files at runtime. The entry point would beorg.jboss.aop.AspectXmlLoader.deployXml()Let me know how you get on

    what is deserialization

    DB:2.85:Deserialization? 11

    In computer science, serialization means to force
    one-at-a-time access for the purposes of concurrency
    control, or to encode a data structure as a sequence
    of bytes. The opposite operation, to extract a data
    structure from a series of bytes, is
    deserialization.

    DB:2.84:Deserializing Failed During Calling Webservice 11

    Hi,

    The deserialization error sometimes is caused cos of using underscore '_' for the variables you might have used in the java class , even though the java class implements Serializable.

    Check for '_' in the java class ,if u have any, remove them and deploy the Webservice again.And if u are still facing the problem then delete the webservice and create a new webservice with same name with the new java classes.

    Hope it solves ur problem.

    DB:2.82:Wls 8.1.3 : Jms :: Stale Jms Connection In Jms Connection Pool 7p

    Hi,

    Our firewall drops the JMS connection between Weblogic 8.1.3 server and IBM Websphere MQ6 server after the connection is established for 2 1/2 hours. per our observation, the Weblogic managed JMS connection pool still returns the stale JMS connection to application after the connection is dropped by the firewall. When our application uses the stale JMS connection, our message sender got the error below:
    javax.ejb.EJBException: Error in sending TextMessage.; nested exception is: javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2008: failed to open MQ queue pqr.stq.out

    Is Weblogic container responsible for keeping the connection fresh in the JMS connection pool?

    Is it the responsibility of Weblogic to flush out any stale JMS connections from the JMS connection pool?

    If not then how is it possible to ensure that the JMS connection is a fresh connection?

    Thanks in Advance.

    DB:2.82:Wls 8.1.3 : Jms :: Stale Jms Connection In Jms Connection Pool 7p

    Given this little bit of information its tough to come up with a diagnosis. Some thoughts:

    * WLS 8.1 is several years old in itself, and SP3 is an old SP -- there have been several since. You might want to first try a new SP. And hasn't 8.1 been end-of-lifed? It's likely that if you upgrade to the latest 9.2 version of WL, or even 10.3.1, the problem will go away.

    * MQ 6 is relatively new. It might be that the problem was introduced when you upgraded MQ. Consider downgrading MQ? Or at least downgrading the MQ client?

    * If you must remain on SP3 and can't downgrade MQ, then you might need to custom code your MQ integration/pooling/XA-enlistment, or perhaps it might work to write some sort of script to kill the TCP/IP connections and so force MQ/WL to clean up the MQ. If I recall correctly, the WL 9.2 pooling code periodically sends messages to a temporary destination to (A) detect that the connection is still alive and (B) help prevent firewalls from killing it.

    DB:2.81:Access Sharepoint Using Webservices Through Web Dynpro. x8

    Ronnie,

    I faced this issue before. WD fails to generate valid client proxies for some XML shemas. Error from wsnavigator means that there was generated Java code that tries to instantiate org.w3c.dom.Node (init is call to constructor), but it is impossible while Node is interface, not a class.

    So this is bug in WS framework. We solve similar issue via wrapping original WS with custom WS developed on .NET and then using it from WD. So it was kind of proxy wrapping original service. The "proxy" service has quite simple in/out messages that could be used by SAP tools.

    Hello,

    I am using Axis on apache tomcat server. I would like to create method which returns 2 dimensional Array (of string or int, it doesn't matter).
    I did it, and when I tried it read in my java client I got following error:

    Is this Ok? Or just 2 dimensional arrays doesn't work on Axis?

    So I tried to by pass this problem to return list, which contains 1 dimensional array :)

    DB:2.78:Jax-Rpc: Wscompile And "Multiple" Inheritance mc

    Hello,

    I'm working to extend the tutorial's hello service example and have run into
    a roadblock.

    On the server side, I have an interface:
    IAsset

    I have two classes:
    Resource, Asset

    Asset extends Resource and implements IAsset.

    My config-interface.xml file contains the following:
    typeMappingRegistry
    additionalTypes
    class name="helloservice.Asset"/
    class name="helloservice.Resource"/
    /additionalTypes
    /typeMappingRegistryand my (modified) HelloIF interface contains a method like:

    public IAsset createAsset(IAsset asset) throws ...

    When I compile I see the following error:

    error: Type "helloservice.Asset" is used as a "helloservice.Resource" and a "helloservice.IAsset"

    Okay, I can live with that - so I remove the line about Resource in the
    config-interface file. Now it compiles, but when I run my client (which,
    obviously, calls the createAsset method), I get the following:

    [java] Runtime exception; nested exception is:
    [java] deserialization error: deserialization error: unexpected XML reader state. expected: END but found: START: something
    [java] java.rmi.RemoteException: Runtime exception; nested exception is:

    [java] at com.sun.xml.rpc.client.StreamingSender._send(StreamingSender.java:173)
    [java] ... 3 more

    It appears to me that when the server side returns an Asset (which is a Resource)
    the client side doesn't know about the Resource piece and cannot deserialize
    the server-generated XML.

    Anyone know a way to move forward? I can completely wrap my server side classes
    (Asset, Resource, IAsset), but I'd rather not, as I'd like to reuse my existing
    code.

    DB:2.77:Jmsexception: Error Deserializing Object 1k

    I have a different deserialization error.

    I am putting a HashMap on the JMS queue. It consists of a few of our own ValueObjects that we put into a HashMap. These VO's "DO" implement serializable. However, when I try to receive these off of the queue, they could not deserialize the objects. I implemented ObjectMessage and casted the Object back to a HashMap (Error Deserializing Object). However, when I stuck String values in this HashMap, no problem. Weblogic JMS doesn't seem to like my ValueObjects.

    JMS Exception: weblogic.jms.common.JMSException: Error deserializing object

    I even tried to explicitly put the VO's on the Weblogic classpath and no luck.

    Scenario:
    I have exceptions sent as JMS messages from a server to a JMS client.
    The classes of these exceptions are not known compile-time by the
    client, but will be loaded run-time according to a xml file by an
    URLClassLoader.

    When the jar-file containing the exceptions is loaded by the class
    loader, I do a Class.forName(exceptionClass, true, exceptionLaader), and
    no exceptions (ClassNotFoundException) occur.

    When a message containing a SecretException (already loaded by the

    This is truly not my area, but I think what is happening is that
    the onMessage is running in a WebLogic thread - and this
    thread is not using your custom class-loader.
    (class-loaders are set on a per-thread basis).

    Some random things to try:

    - Reset the thread's class loader
    each time before calling "objmsg.getObject()".

    - Stream the object into bytes on the sender
    and then pass the data using a bytes message.
    Upon receive, set the thread's class loader and
    deserialize the bytes directly.

    - Use synchronous JMS rather than asynchronous
    JMS in your client - this way you have full control over the
    threads. I think threads inherit the class-loader of
    the thread that created them.

    DB:2.77:Deserialization Error!!! mz

    I've come across this as well. I believe this to be a bug in the EA2 of xrpcc. The basic problem is that the SOAP serializer that is created for the string array varies slightly depending on whether the source for compilation is a Java interface or a WSDL file. The difference is just that in one case the array elements will have names based on the local name of the type, that is, string, while in the other case the name will use the XML-Schema-qualified type name, so that the element will be xsd:string. If you look at the SOAP that is transmitted by a client generated one way or the other, the xsd: prefix is the only difference in the message body. It is enough to cause a communication failure, however, as the recipient of the message can't parse the array.

    As I say, I believe this to be a bug in the tool, and intend to enter it as such if I can't find an existing report. A workaround would be to edit the generated servicename_SerializerRegistry.java file by hand, and then complete the build. This is not robust, though, since the change will be torched every time xrpcc is run again.

    DB:2.77:Any Sample Wsdl File For S1as7 j3

    hello,

    Does anybody have any sample wsdl file that works on S1AS7 which contains a service method where the parameter is an array of Complex type (must be a custom defined complex type. ie SimpleAccountBean[] ).

    I am really stuck on the array of complex type right now with the deserialization error:

    Hi Victor Rakesh

    I also got the same error as mention below:

    But i dont think this error is due complex type as becoz i m not using complex data type ... i m created simple service that return "Hello World" message (String type)
    Following environment is used to create Hello World Web Service
    IDE: RAD 6.0
    Apllication Server: WAS v5.1Test Environment
    Servlet Version: 2.3
    J2EE: 1.3

    I created client in Sun Env by wscompile in Eclipse.
    when i m running my client by static proxy, its working fine
    But whenever i m running by dynamic proxy (com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl), its throwing error as mention above.

    so what could be the isue ... plz assist me
    Thanks in advance

    org.apache.jsp.edit$jsp._jspService(edit$jsp.java:1046this is clearly an excpetion at your jsp. (must be edit.jsp)

    check the working directory of your tomcat (TOMCAT_HOME/work or your_web_app's specific work folder) and open the edit$jsp.java:1046..
    (this is the servlet class for your edit.jsp)
    this should probably give a clue what failed in the servlet.

    We have a serios error preventing us from moving to TFS 2012. In our TFS 2012 we have custom HTML fileds with large amount of data. So after test migration we failed to see work items with this amount of HTML data due to this error:
    Error during serialization or deserialization using the json javascriptserializer ...
    We have found out that this is ASP Net error. But we do not have TFS source codes to fix it. Please help us as soon as possible.

    DB:2.75:Tfs 2012::Error During Serialization Or Deserialization Using The Json Javascriptserializer xm

    TF400893: Team Foundation Server services are not available. This is most likely caused by a network error. Please check your connection and try again.

    We're doing work on converting embedded images to base64 text strings so they show in TFS HTML Fields. We got this same error when we went past 22 attachments (after several merge tests) and deleting them cleared it up.
    We got the Json error later when we loaded up the history file so large that it was no longer loadable even with attachments and HTML deleted. Couldn't fix that without a DB hack so the app key was the final solution.

    Klaus -- As a follow on, can you provide the following information.
    - The database version that your queue was created in.
    - Your queue definition, especially the payload type and the queue name.
    - Your current resource-provider definition (I know you included it previously but I want to make sure it hasn't changed.)
    - Your ejb-jar.xml and orion-ejb-jar.xml that will show the mapping for your MDBs. This is usually the tricky part.
    Again, the petstore 1.3 (http://otn.oracle.com/tech/java/oc4j/content_preview.html) is definitely a working example with OracleJMS.

    Ok upon more digging it uses context to the managed server which
    hosts the jms server not the
    admin server. Could that be the issue?

    Larry,

    So the deal is that any mbean creations against that
    AdminMBeanHome will fail if the adminstration server is not
    present. This is whey steps A and B are failing. Is the
    difference between C and D that the other managed servers are
    not being restarted? Why is a managed server and not the
    adminstration server responsible for creating the queues and
    topics? It seems as though based on your description you have a
    specific reason for doing this.

    The difference between C and D is that in C only one managed
    server is being res-started vs D the whole env admin server and
    all managed servers are being re-started.

    The managed server has a stateless ejb which

    A. creates context to Admin Server
    B. issues mbean calls. so it does use admin server to make the
    calls the bean is simply
    deployed in managed server for consitency.
    I am currently looking at the stateless bean which talks to the
    admin server mbeans to see if I can
    see any issues. I had first thought it was a cached context but
    it re-creates context each call however it does not issue a close
    after every call. I am going to try that although i wouldnt think
    that would matter

    Is there anything in the server logs associated with the
    rediscovery and reconnect to the adminstration server when you
    are running scenario C? I am going to cross post this message
    to the JMS newsgroups as I think those folks may be more
    familiar with the specifics of how the lifecycle of JMS is
    interacting with JMX.

    We do see re-discovery log entries being made as I have said all
    managed servers have MSI = true and replication = true and are
    running on the same physical box duno if thats an issue??

    What I can say right now is here are a couple of different
    sequence of events which have essentially
    the same result in that the queues are not created in the
    config.xml will have to check to see if the mbeans have been
    created havent dont that yet.

    Scenario A.

    Weblogic Admin Server is brought down with a kill -9 (This
    was done by accident)
    We have three managed servers and one of our servers is
    responsible for adding queues etc.
    It is still up however any add operations fail ie nothing to
    config.xml nothing shows up in console and i cant do jndi
    lookup.

    Scenario B.

    Weblogic Admin server is brought down with a graceful shutdown
    Same result as A.

    Scenario C

    Weblogic Admin Server is brought down
    Managed server which does mbean operations is brought down
    Start Admin Server
    Start Managed server

    Same results as A and B.

    Scenario D

    All servers brought down and back up
    It works correctly.

    Hi Larry,

    Based on my knowledge of how all of this is put together and see that might
    be problems in this area. To help me figure out if this is a bug in 7.0 it
    would be helpful if you could more fully describe the sequence of starting
    and stopping the admin and managed servers.

    Somethings that you can check for are if the new queue is being added to the
    "config.xml" file and if the various beans are being approriately created
    despite the fact that the queue is not actually coming into existence. Does
    the Queue/Topic MBean exist on the adminstration server? Is the "Config"
    version of that bean coming into existence. The Config MBean has the
    ObjectName as the one you originally created and but with the string
    "Config" appended to the object type and the additional field
    Location=servername.

    You can use the weblogic.Admin tool to check this. Alternatively you can
    deploy the attached webapplication on each of servers and then accessing the
    ulr http://hostandport/mbeans/mbeans.

    In the meantime I will do some investigation of my own.

    Thanks,

    I am looking at our code but figured I would put a post out to see if
    anyone else has
    seen this.

    We are using weblogic 7.0 sp2

    We have code which uses mbeans to add a Queue/Topic. The issue is if the
    admin server
    is killed and then re-started (We do have discover managed servers =
    true) then our code does not work. I as of yet cant tell if we are
    eating an exception or if one is not being thrown.

    However its weird since even after starting the managed server it still
    doesnt work.

    We do have MSI = true and MIS replications = true I dont know if this is
    related or
    not but could it be a known WLS bug??

    Anyhow I am digging into our code. Please let me know if anyone has
    experienced the
    same issue.

    I've got the same error message, but in another scenario. I'm testing a XI Web Service, with a defined WSDL. To test it I'm using WS Navigator (http://host:port/wsnavigator/enterwsdl.html). Although all the types I'm returning are on the WSLD definition, the dumb WS Navigator fires the "XML Deserialization Error", and says that a type is not defined in the wsdl (but the type is there, and other test tools are working fine with it!).

    Hi,

    I am not very sure but what you can do is go to RWB---- Message Monitoring and there you check if any of you message has gone into system error then just cancel or delete those messages and then try. Because the Receiver JMS uses EOIO and in some instances it could fail if it attempts to send any failed message.

    Hi, All,

    is there any algorithm for deserialization (creating components from markup in string) in Oracle ADF Faces? Most part of UI is created dynamically in PL/SQL functions, so I'm not enthusiastic to develop a parser.

    AFAIK in Bindows framework they use such code pattern (javascript):
    try {
    var d = new BiXmlDocument;
    d.loadXML( "root" + server_create_markup() + "/root" );
    } catch( ex1 ) {
    alert(ex1.toiString());
    }

    if( d.parseError.errorCode != 0 ) {
    alert( "parse error" );
    return;
    }

    try {
    Bindows_component.removeAll();
    var de = d.documentElement;
    var cs = de.childNodes;
    var rp = application.getAdf().getXmlResourceParser();
    for( var i = 0; i cs.length; i++ )
    Bindows_component.addXmlNode( cs, rp );
    } catch( ex2 ) {
    alert( "Error loading markup from DB-server function" );
    return;
    }

    Hi,

    not that I am aware of. However, since ADF Faces is nothing else than JavaServer Facse UI components you can Google for such a parser. If you find one you will be able to use it with ADF Faces too.

    Frank

    Ps.: Maybe APEX (Application Express) is the better technology for you to use. Its PLSQL based and knows how to create Ajax style applications out of the database.

    DB:2.68:Error In Jms Input Channels dj

    Dear all,

    We have observed a peculiar issue.

    Some of the JMS Input channels are throwing this error:-

    "Error establishing JMS connection; error message: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for IP:QM Manager MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009

    MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect

    Closure reason = 2009; error code: MQJMS2005"

    Other JMS channels with the same configurations are working fine. But some JMS channels have this error.

    If any one has faced a similar issue, kindly share the steps to resolve the same.

    Thanks in advance,

    Younus

    DB:2.68:Error In Jms Input Channels dj

    In our case it turns out the new instance of MQ had a different TCPIP Port (but same old host) defined.

    So after setting port correctly in comm channel the problem was solved.

    Hi folks,

    Can anyone give me the common errors occure during the scenarios like JMS TO IDOC or JMS TO FILE ( vice versa ) scnenarios. If any one of you asked to raise questions on JMS adapter, what will you ask.

    This is just learning the things in "error mode".

    Thanks

    Srinivas Reddy.

    DB:2.68:Jms Adapter Errors.? 1s

    Hi,

    1)When JMS Queue(ex:MQ) down at that time message will not deliver to MQ,in this CC will not pick up or send message to MQ,this is the common error we face while working on JMS Scenarios.

    2) You have to deploy correct and relevant JAR files in PI System,If anything wrong in this case JMS Communication channel will not work properly.

    3)While sending IDoc or Receiving IDoc from SAP, first we have to define the port ,destination details u2026in SAP side as well as in XI,if anything wrong in settings you will face error. this is also one common error.

    4)When executing IDoc scenarios first time IDoc meta data will not import automatically sometimes, in this case you will face error IDoc not reached XI,this case you have to import meta data in to PI using IDX2.

    There are many common issue we face working different scenarios, better to develop one scenario by your self and test with different cases then you will let you know different errors.

    Raj

    DB:2.68:Shame! Shame!! Shame!!! Sun's Own Jwsdp Example Giving Errors!!!! am

    Java guys at Sun have developed their own implementation of jax-rpc and it is known as JWSDP (Java Web Services Developer Pack). The current version is 1_0_01. I was struggling with this for quite a some time and it was a nightmare to say the least. (I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED WEB SEVICES WITH APACHE AXIS, WASP - BOTH IMPLEMENT JAX-RPC - AND ALSO WITH GLUE AND IN ALL THREE IMPLEMENTATIONS I HAVE USED JAVA BEANS AS INPUT PARAMETERS TO THE WEB SERVICE) The basic problem with JWSDP is that if you write a web service which accepts a java bean as an input paramater then you have to write the serializer manually! This is something automatically happening in AXIS, WASP and GLUE. However I did not mind this and I wrote a serializer - only to find that it was not working. It was giving errors [ java.rmi.ServerException: Internal Server Error (deserialization error: unexpected XML reader state. expected: END but found: START: String_1) ] and I posted several messages to this forum regarding the errors but nobody could reply. While wondering why nobody could give me a satisfactory explanation to my problem I tried the example application (http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/restricted/employeeportal/employeeportal-fcs.zip) that is given in the Sun's tutorial (http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/WebServices/WSPack2/index.html) for JWSDP. I found that this is also not working. It has two examples. One is about a Book Store and IT IS WORKING. However the example about the Fund Management is giving the very same error and it is [ERROR] server - -deserialization error: deserialization error: deserialization error: unexpected XML reader state. expected: END but found: START: phone deserialization error: deserialization error: deserialization error: unexpected XML reader state. expected: END but found: START: phone

    Anybody likes to respond......?

    This forum is about the older ASMX Web Service technology and the related XML Serializer. A question on the newer WCF Services technology or related Data Contract Serializer should be asked on the WCF Forum at http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=118SiteID=1.Besides, I don't know the answer to your question.  I'm still learning WCF myself.  ;-)John Saunders | Use File-New Project to create Web Service Projects

    None of them.

    Where are you getting this rubbish?

    Or are you writing this rubbish and field-testing it here?

    Please don't.

    DB:2.66:Use Pof Serialization In .Net 1k

    Hello,

    I have a class called MyClass and pof configuration for this type (my-pof-config.xml).
    I need to serialize an instance of MyType and then send it via JMS.

    In Coherence Java API, there is ExternalizableHelper.toByteArray/fromByteArray. How can I do pof serialization and deserialization in C#?

    Thank you.

    DB:2.66:Use Pof Serialization In .Net 1k

    Thanks to Alexey Ragozin. Solution is below:

    // serialize
    val a = new MyObject
    val cpc = new ConfigurablePofContext("my-pof-config.xml")
    val buf = new ByteArrayWriteBuffer(4096)
    val out = buf.getBufferOutput()
    cpc.serialize(out, a)
    val bin = buf.toBinary()

    // deserialize
    val inb = new ByteArrayReadBuffer(bin.toByteArray)
    val in = inb.getBufferInput
    println(cpc.deserialize(in).asInstanceOf[MyObject])

    Cheers,
    Alexander Nemish

    DB:2.66:Step Thru Xml Deserialization Process 81

    Hi,    I have a winform application that interacts with a web service. I'd like to step through the xml deserialization process in order to see why the received soap messages are not deserialized properly.    I first used sgen.exe to generate the code (in a .cs file) that handles both xml serialization and deserialization, included the file in the winform project, and compiled the project. The compiler then pointed out an error saying Duplicate 'AssemblyVersion' attribute. In this case, I comment out the following in AssemblyInfo.cs, and then the project compiles fine.
    [assembly: AssemblyVersion(1.0.0.0)]
